I just picked one of these up the other day and I love it. Did a price match via Best Buy chat and got the 50 dollar difference refunded for the 1TB model I got. This is an impressive little device out of the box. With a little tuning, it's quite a beast! I have it playing HellDivers 2 (which is fairly graphically demanding) via a USB C dock on my 60" 4k TV (playing in 1080p) and I can play at 60FPS no problem. There's a good community for it too. Out of the box it does well, but there are some good and cheap additions you can do to improve cooling for even better performance and battery. Like a 10 dollar SSD Copper heatsink shield that I ordered recently.
This is technically a full on computer with Windows 11, FYI.

The biggest thing for me is the removable controllers. Its a big sell. The controllers always go bad first.

That's why the ally and steamdeck are engineered in a way that it is very easy to replace the joysticks (they are plug and play modules). Cheaper to replace a joystick then an entire controller like the legion go will probably be.
