Hey, don't be too harsh on him. he just said that to get your attention. That's all he needed.
I'm already disappointed from the first reply. Guy telling every target employee within a 500 mile radius about their really good tv deals

Hey, don't take all the attacks personally. People like to pile on on this app for some reason. God forbid you make a comment about coffee. if these people want to take time out of their days just to write a harassing comment that's their prerogative. Now you know for the future, though it is usually best to check either in store or with those websites that track inventory. Employees will buy them just to flip them on Facebook marketplace or OfferUp.
My Dad still calls locations. It's just his way. I don't give him shit for it. Instead I try to help him find what he needs when the circumstances warrant it. "Pops, you call and I'll check this way…."
So first of all not every store is the same. Not every store has the same amount of money to clearance items. Hell a decade ago at Walmart I had a manager that would clearance items down to a $1 to get stuff out of the store. Probably didn't do the store good. But getting $15 kcups for a $1 was a steal. And just because one store clearances an item doesn't mean every other store is doing the same.
If it says LOW stock, you might still get one. My sister literally called a store this morning that was an hour away because it said low-stock on the website but still had a higher price listed; the associate price checked it for her over the phone, said they had one in stock and that it was ringing up $189, so she drove an hour and snatched it up. Probably got lucky, but "low-stock" is worth a try (and probably a phone call), while Out of Stock is probably not.
I find that in general, unless the deal makes something less than $50, you're pretty safe to call about them because most retail workers don't have the excess income to buy something that's $100 or $200 on a whim.
