Yeah, but You buy how many thousands of dollars of stuff a year online? It used to be just $12/month, but it is still worth it. Buying the watch will pay for 1.5 months. I'll just say I've been using it for almost 10 years and don't doubt my overall savings. 10% on a $2000 TV pays for the year.
I have a 6 with the Oxygen sensor.. i have used it 2-3 times in 4 years.. not particularly valuable unless it's doing some calculations for your stats behind the scenes.
This is why I ultimately said screw it and got the 45MM from Best Buy w/o blood oxygen. Very people seem to actually need it. BBY will give me $90 trade-in for my Series 5 and $100 off seems like a no brainer.
Walmart has the one w/blood oxygen, but then you need to get the M/L band which, frankly, is massive for my wrist.
The oxygen sensor is good for:
1. Those who don't have a pulse ox and want to use it as a spot check say if they have maybe dyspnea / sob or maybe they are ill with a flu and had some trouble breathing and need to see if they are worsening in their lung capacity potentially from a developing pneumonia reducing oxygenation etc etc what have youโฆ
2. I use it mainly at night to monitor my sleep quality and see if I drop my o2 overnight as someone with poor sleep and chronic nasal congestion (I doubt I have apnea) but like to see that I'm not dropping my o2 into the 80s as a reason for causing me to wake in the middle of the night.
If I had the option of having it vs not having it, I'd prefer to have it but that is again, a personal preference.
Most pulse ox for the finger are spot checks and don't give you the nice graphs and records etc โฆ
With that said - the "blood" o2 sensor is not imperative by any means but for the same price with or without id rather have it )
Suggestions on some good bands? I put in my nike band from Watch 4.. but that solo loops look interesting.
The sport loop is very nice and more durable than I expected. I would try that and the sport band to see what you prefer.
Stick with genuine Apple... the sport band material for example is way better than silicone and lasts a very long time.
Went from S4 with a tired battery to S9 and it's a night an day difference. Quick charge, much larger display, longer battery life with always on display.
But the most noticeable may be on device siri. It's finally quick.
I was able to get Best Buy to price match Walmart for the blood oxygen model (Walmart didn't have the small/medium band version in stock, but BBY still price matched). Copped a Starlight 45mm with small/medium band and also was able to trade in my Series 5 with 77% battery health for $90. No brainer with the sale + trade-in value.

LW/A is the part number ending for watches that DO NOT have the sensor in case that helps

Does chase freedom specifically cashback for every quarter or is it just for Amazon?
How do I see battery health on my S4?
Target has the starlight and midnight version with oxygen also for $299: https://www.target.com/p/apple-wa...t=85966309
