Better battle system than Chrono Trigger and the opening theme might be the best in video game history really. The Radical Dreamers part isn't really interesting to me but on Switch the game plays great.
I haven't played the PC port so I can't speak to any issues, but the game itself is a pretty good JRPG, not as good as Chrono Trigger but definitely worth a play-through.

Interested in this, but I've read there are problems with the PC port? Is that still the case or is there a better port besides the original PS1 version?

Yeah I've played it on the PS1 only, but wanted to get it officially for the deck. Agree with you that it's not as good as Trigger
The ps4/5 version frame rate stutters were so bad it was unplayable. Tried to play for two hours and have not gone back. On the bright side, emulated on my phone, the ps1 version plays great.

Wild Arms 1 arguably had the best intro theme, but yes CC is very memorable too!
I agree on Wild Arms. That song still gets stuck in my head. I used it for a ringtone for a while. My roommate came running into my room thinking I was playing it when he heard it. Not something that's easy to mistake, I guess.
