Not in the market, but I'm sure someone is. Snippet from RTings (7.5 rating) Link[rtings.com]
The Samsung Q80B is a good overall TV that performs well in bright rooms thanks to its excellent peak brightness. It's a good choice if you need the wide viewing angle for a wide seating arrangement or want to use it as a PC monitor. It also has great gaming features like HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and VRR support. However, it lacks dark room performance as blacks look gray, and there's blooming around bright objects.

Yeah rtings did review an ads/ips like panel so my thinking is the VA panel should have better contrast/blacks

Look for Q80C also in clearance, I bought q80c for 999 with 5 years warranty 3 weeks back. I posted on slick deals the details, it was my first post may be i didn't post properly so deal was downvoted.
I don't think you can, at least the one that is near me. That is the main reason I haven't bought anything huge that requires delivery. I don't have anything to pick items like this from the store lol
any difference if there is a D at the end of the Q80 BD? i see that on the boxes at sams club, $1099 + tax comes with 5 yr warranty from all state. (2left in stock at Citrus heights CA as of posting

Also 2 days back i bought Q60C 65inch for 269$ in target(in store clearance) check for it in your local store if you are in market.
Running back and forth to see things on each end of the screen sounds like exercise to me.
Besides...how can you be a proper detective/stalker without the screen space to fully lay our the evidence?
