Where are you located?
This seems highly suspect or a 1 time deal/clearance/price error (an extreme YMMV, can you provide a screenshot of your receipt?).
Sam's website shows an 85" Q80 (older model, different item number) at $1597.99 (on sale for $1499.91).

Sorry i didn't check msges after posting. Im from lansing mi, could be store specific clearance, i too didn't believe that price, so i didn't move away from tv and had to call my friend to get the big van to carry. I bought new one my friend bought display one for 899$
If you still looking for tv, 2 days back i got Q60 65 for 269$ in target in store clearance check for that.
