Most places that have this circular saw have it down to $129. However, Ohio Power Tool includes a free Power Stack starter kit (DCBP034C ) with purchase. Shipping is free. This is not going to beat deals from a couple years ago, but as someone who has had their eye on this saw, I finally pulled the trigger. I tried to get HD to match so that I could pick it up, but they said they couldn't match the promo. This same deal has also been going in and out of stock at Blain's Fleet and Farm. Acme Tools includes the starter kit but it is $179.

The Power Stack battery is a lot smaller than I expected. It's the same width as my 12V, pretty similar in size to my 12V 5Ah.

Great now I want one on sale. I am lucky this saw is out of stock or I would have impulsively bought it. I use the 5.5" circular a lot so i'd probably use this even more. It might even save me from buying the smaller cutting tool.

Not so fast buddy. Its on sale at multiple sellers. You dont want yout fingers cut when you use circular saw for box cutting.
