Nobody here cares. I pretty much come & go as I please. I'm back and forth between two offices so people aren't really sure where I'm supposed to be on any given day. Which would be totally sweet if I could bring myself to abuse it...

In other news I gave notice today. July 23rd I'm outta here! Hate this job/my boss/everyone in both offices SO. MUCH.

Yeah. I'm crazy but not that crazy. I start Aug. 2 at a place that I think will make me much happier. Smaller company, better pay (although it's a weird scheme--the thread I posted about bonuses & hourly pay, etc.), more satisfying work. I'm pretty excited.

I'm also getting separated and selling my house. It's like a mini-midlife crisis here. I even bought an expensive Alienware laptop (can't afford the sports car just yet). So in the next six months I'll change jobs, become single, and move out of my house to god-knows-where. Assuming the house sells that is.

Oh yeah and I grew a beard.

Hate to hear that about the wife. I actually had wondered about how things were but there's no really good way to ask.

I had a beard once but the wife prefers me cleanshaven. It's also so hard for me to grow a good beard.

Sounds like you have a lot of changes going on.

Mine is a resentment beard. The wife likes the clean-shaven look too. Meh.

Thanks. It is what it is--without going into too much detail (esp. since nothing's finalized yet), we both did our best. Anyway, yeah, lots of changes. If I think about it too long I want to curl up and hide for a while. So, I don't think about it!
