ST....ohhhhh what I would give to be on a plane right now to NYC where I could just forget about evvvvverything!!!! Man that trip was fun - even if now we're all gonna be sad that SHE will be in our memories there

I can't believe I actually had a couple of good Target trips!! Finally.
They had the whole Vday section marked 70% but the bags of candy were only ringing 50%. Found a very nice LOD who let me have what I had for 70%. She then went and rearranged the isle and added a 50% section. Made some great deals on Dove chocolate, m&m's and kisses. I DO NOT need chocolate. LOL But those strawberry milk chocolate Dove candies are very good.
We have a remodel going on in this store so the refrigerated section is very bare. I hope they reissue the Alexia tq.
I really only got the free stuff and added a few grocery items to cover any O from the chocolates.
Weird thing I noticed yesterday was the cashier asked the LOD about the Tena Q, which was fine with me. LOD told her something that made it sound like the only cpns she needed to worry about now were the ones that specifically asked for price. She told her, other than that just scan them through for the full price. The whole conversation made it sound like there had been a discussion or meeting about cpns redeemed at face value. Then today I ended up with a cashier that used to be picky about making sure cpns were not more than the items, and she didn't even take a second look at any of my q's. She had to price adjust my candy so she knew the q's I had were for more than the item, but she just scanned them without hesitation. This is totally not something she would have done before.
I think my slump may be somewhat over. lol Now come on Target, you are really boring right now, bring on some new fun deals!!

It isn't about the penny. It is about it not being as fun - and all the "rules" that change with every person...
We did get through dd's bday party. I will have to get a cake pic posted when I get them loaded onto my computer.
Ugh, feel your pain....we just replaced two on our tire-eating Mazda 5....we knew it was a tire-eater when we bought it - the rear axle has a negative camber (sp?) angle and this causes the insides of the tires to wear fast(er.) I still love it and wouldn't trade it for anything

talking about cars, same brother was in a car accident 2 wks ago and the car was totalled so he has to look for another car. he's ok except for a busted lip that needed stitches and one tooth is going to need a root canal and of course the aches and pains. he's looking for a small car w/ good gas mileage. he told me today he's looking into the honda civic and ford focus. i also suggested the hyundai elantra that a friend ended up getting for her teenage daughter after the honda element proved not good for a beginner driver and we've also rented it b4.
does anybody have any suggestions or feedback? he said his budget is 15K but where he got that much money from i don't know b/c the book value on his car is only 5K and he's not getting that much from the insurance co. he's living at my parents' house b/c he can't afford to even rent. and he stopped giving my parents money too.

Does anyone cook with a deep fryer? I bought the George Foreman spinning one a LONG time ago when T had them on clearance. Well, It has finally given out and I can't imagine going back to the old type ones. The spinning aspect made the food not greasy at all and was great. I don't eat hardly anything fixed in it because I just can't stomach the fat in the grease but my DS(15) likes a few things fixed in it about once or twice a month or so. I did look at the TFal Actifry but it is soo pricey and reviews are only so-so on it. Any other suggestions?
