My worry is that at this age, they seem so oblivious to what CAN happen while out and about like that...or maybe I am just over protective and freak out too easy. lol Heck my 15yr son is going on a school trip for 2 days this weekend and my DH is already making some plans to take me out for dinner and shopping on Sat just cause he knows I will be a basket case and wants to help take my mind off worrying so much. Hate that it seems easier for dads to 'not worry' while I am here needing some meds.

I am the same way with my kids! Sometimes i wish that I didnt worry so much but then I think that my worry is what keeps them safe. My boys (8 and 14) are going to their dads over spring break and its making my anxiety so much worse. I'm trying to not think about it because i feel like im going to have a panic attack when I do. I Just know those few days are going to be hell on me. If i had the money I would be staying in a hotel close to where he lives but I dont

Oh my, I have asked my DH several times if this would be wrong..ya know just to be a little closer. He always tells me yes. It is getting a little easier each time they are gone. I often think, how in the world did my parents handle it cause at least my kids have cell phones that I can contact them on. We ran around and went on trips and mom had no way to talk to us the whole time we were gone.
I try not to text them while they are gone, but do ask them to check in when they have time. They know I am a worrier so they are good about checking in a couple times a day.

Ya know I think my anxiety started/worsened when I went to pick up my DS from school when he was in second grade and he was not outside where all the other kids were. I watched as all the other kids left with their parents and still no DS. Teachers went back into the school, leaving me sitting in my car freaking out!! I immediately ran into the school, and I must have looked like I was panicing cause as soon as I walked into the classroom the teacher said 'oh he is back taking an AR test, sorry we worried you'. LOL There he was sitting at the computer taking a reading test. From that day on, it seemed that if he wasn't out with the other kids waiting on me, i would start to have a panic attack. Sometimes to the point where I would have to call my DH crying. Yes, I was one of those parents (still am somewhat). But I think that is what started the whole thing.

Oh the joys of parenthood. lol DH and I are starting to learn how to be parents of teenagers, ya know, enjoying the time we have together when the kids are gone/busy. It really is nice to be able to go anywhere without having to be back at a certain time. So we will enjoy our day together this weekend. (me in a silent panic cause my son is out of town)

just wrote a long email to my HOA yahoo group and i swear comcast is horrible!!! last wk i tried to send a similar email and when i clicked on send, it went to the yahoo mail sign-in page and i lost half my email, whatever hadn't been saved in auto-draft. and you couldn't click on backpage to retrieve it like i do on sd when that happens. it's gone!!! so today i was a little more prepared, i would copy and constantly save to draft. it happened at least 3X and i did have to go back and look up data for 4-5 yrs and when i clicked on send, like many times, nothing happens! a little block opens and says loading and then nothing. so i ate lunch and came back, clicked send and it immediately went thru. i'm getting really fed up and ready to switch to verizon.

Losing my mind and hoping someone here can help me because I swear folks in the Target thread always have the answers! :-)

I used to have a .50/1 Simply Orange coupon pdf. I think my busy body of a husband deleted it because I forgot to hide it away in "my" folder. Does anyone still have this?? It's the only OJ busy body will drink and I had to pay 3.99 yesterday. I think it caused me physical pain, lol.

Can anyone pretty please help?

Looking through my things, I think he went on a deleting rampage because I also can't find other Qs I KNOW I had saved. I really miss WPTV.

Thanks, guys, for the birthday wishes! The day didn't start out too great (had a headache that wouldn't quit), but once I got meds into me and gave them time to work, it was awesome. Hubby had taken the day off, so we hung out all day. Had a late breakfast out, went shopping, etc. Had our youngest along as a "chaperone" and just had a great time. My dream day is hitting up thrift stores, discount places like TJ Maxx, etc., and he was very happy to indulge me. Now I'm drinking some decaf and about to wolf down the strawberry cupcake he got me from Wegmans. Yummy!

Right now Target is offering a FREE Spring Beauty Bag which is full of samples as well as coupons! NOW, you will need to enter a specific code to get yours. Some of you will have this and some won't....if you've been shopping at Target recently then check your receipts because the code will be found at the bottom and is triggered by a special purchase during March. I'm not sure what this product is BUT I can only assume it may be a beauty product since it is a "beauty bag". anyone have an extra code they would like to share? update it is a random code if you are lucky enough to get one been to target and they called target.com and that is what they are saying so be lucky if you get a code.

I just got back from Target and found three cats flying around in the freezing cold wind and one of them was a beauty bag code cat. The codes are one time use. Man it was almost like catching a real cat in this wind. I know I looked insane but I couldn't resist seeing what those cats were for. So if some of the codes are on the receipts some are also printed on cats so watch out for cats too.
