DS2 was jumping around the house and just bounced right into a corner
we saw the village people yesterday. that was fun. concert was well-attended, almost of the seats were occupied. final song was YMCA and learned the proper way to do the M is to have your hands in front of your chest w/ your elbows up, not the mickey mouse ears over your head. checked wikipedia after and 2 of the 6 are original band members, the indian and the army guy. the indian was wearing cut-out pants w/ beaded flaps over the front and back so whenever he turned quickly you could see his butt. the concert was for 18 and over but saw at least 2 kids there.
spoiler alert- saw the dark knight rises last wk. special effects are amazing. thought the premise of the movie was too drawn out. there is no way a million or so people in a city could be confined to an island for 5 months. just the logistics of food, waste management, etc wouldn't work. that was so incredibly improbable. i was surprised the movie was in imax but not 3D. you definitely need to see the previous 2 movies to understand what is going on in this third movie. i thought i'd seen all of them but maybe i saw the first one too long ago to be able to connect the dots.
it was better than spiderman that i saw a few wks ago. i thought spiderman dragged too much. special effects were good too but not as effective as batman. i definitely need to bone up on story lines b4 i go see these types of movies. i read all these comics over 35 yrs ago and just don't remember them anymore. didn't know according to the original comic that peter parker had a major girlfriend b4 mj.
what's good this wk for bts across the board besides free but beeping scotch tape at target?
i know bic witeout is .50 at staples this wk and there is a 1.00/2 ip here so just tax for me. i use witeout to cover prices on gifts but bff's little sneaky dd told me she scratches off the witeout, so now i first black it out w/ pen or sharpie then use the witeout.

Don't get me wrong. There are lots of mmf bags that are very good quality.
I bought my DD a pair of Toms this weekend, yes they were $60 but we have several pair and know the quality and such and are willing to spend the money on those verses some of the knockoff brands. It is just a personal preference for everyone. If we couldn't afford them we would definately try the others. But thankfully right now we have that choice.
Does anyone have any opinion on the New Leappad that is out? I am thinking of getting them for my niece/nephew for christmas. Are they worth the $. They are 4 and 5yrs. They want a laptop or Ipod touch but..LOL I know they are not ready to take care of those so figured this would be a better option. Thanks for any info.

occasionally staples can be a decent source for toilet paper and paper towels w/ mq's like bounty basic. i bought angel soft w/ q a few months ago. as always, some cashiers are just ignorant. they do take mq's, they just have to know how to key them in. so if they say no, tell them you know for a fact staples takes mq's and they need to find somebody or call another store or call corporate and ask them how to do it.
Save $1 on any 2-pack (or larger) of Bottle 2 Pen (P2P) or FriXion erasable pens or highlighters (exp 9/30)

Yes I know. Now I have to say that I am sure it is because grandma lets them just play with her ipod/laptop and they think it is 'fun'. But there is no way I would get them something like that. So figured 'maybe' the leappad would be something that they would be able to master AND take the wear and tear that I am sure it will endure.
I bought my own kids almost every leapfrog item available when they were little and they loved them. However that was almost 10yrs ago. So wanted to make sure this leappad was as cool/good as it looked.
I have decided to go with 1 gift for each this year and that is it. So trying to find something nice that they can perhaps get some use out of. But really didn't want to pay the money for something that they will play with one or two times and not have the desire to touch again. Which very well may be the case anyways but..lol
