I was in Dallas this weekend shopping with a friend (I got to meet her Jedi cashier....it was fun!) and we came across a Target that had received the new (to us) update where the register only takes 4 like coupons. I thought I had set my coupons up right (I'm used to using 5....not 4) but after looking at my receipt I realized that there were a few coupons that I must have had 5 of and it took them all without any K1 required. How weird is that?

Oh my yes that is too much alike for sure. I am looking at my receipt and we were there at 1:04pm Saturday. Ok that is when I finally made it to the register. lol Probably got into the store at 12:15 or so. I was the short lady with the very bored teens. All following me around like they wanted to strangle me with a bag!I tell you it was so crazy that I had a bag picked out couldn't decide so sit it down for one second and POOF it was gone. My DS said uh some lady grabbed that as soon as you put it down. lol Luckily I found another one just like it. Didn't make that mistake again. Which is why so many ppl were walking around with 5 bags on their arms and their guys had 5 just in case they changed their minds. You didn't dare sit one down. ![]()

ooooooooo Coach I like them too.....although....my mom has purchased quite a few bags at the outlet....and they are all pretty trendy so I usually just borrow one from her for awhile
Not because she needed a new pair of shoes Anyway, just couldn't find any that weren't high priced and in the meantime found a deal on a pair of Skechers Bobs for about $10. I have always been hesitant to buy a knock-off of Toms because I like the whole get a pair, give a pair idea and figured the "other" companies didn't do that. BUT found out that Skechers actually does which I thought was pretty cool. I also read the reviews on both and at least for the little kid ones the Bobs had better reviews as far as holding up....I was very surprised. These for for the toddler ones though --- I would imagine older kids/adults would be easier on them. I have never really been a huge fan of Skechers (for my dd)...I just think the soles are really rigid on a lot of their shoes & I've always tried to buy her shoes/higher end shoes with flexible soles...but I do really like these. It probably helps that they are silver & glittery & sparkly & cute ![]() On that note, I will be going by the outlet end of this week Wasn't planning on stopping buuuuuuuut......now I'm kind of itching I blame you all
My fave slick deal

Where did you get that deal? I'll probably have to put an HD alert too Maybe I need to plan a trip to a Sketchers outlet

Their shoe deals are soooo very specific to sizes & colors though; I get a lot of deals on kids shoes there but have found it's best just to check back a lot, particularly at the times when stores typically clearance out seasonal stuff/old colors, etc. I found this year that July is definitely a phenomenal time for kids clearance, at least at the places I've gone. Have gotten dd a ton of stuff for next year. Did most of her BTS clothes shopping on eBay though - now that was fun!

TM4D- Thanks for the info on BOB's. We have seen them at the store, but wondered about the quality. I have 2 pairs of Toms and love them. They are quite comfortable.
You really should stop by the Coach outlet. Just to browse. lolI have been reading Dave Ramsey and I am pretty sure he would not have approved of my purchases from the weekend. I am just not gazelle intense yet I guess. I did pay cash but that is not the point. lol |

![]() Well, in that case DR would not approve of the vacation I am leaving for tomorrow ...or a trip to the shopping mall I will be going to... ....or a potential stop by the outlet mall..... In all seriousness we have been following DR pretty closely; I love most of his stuff but either I am just not-so-hardcore or there are just a few things I disagree on. For instance, we had been so gung-ho paying down debt these last 2-3 yrs. that up until this year we'd really gone nowhere as a whole family vacation-wise. We decided this year that we really wanted dd to have some vacations to remember and thus we went (and have paid cash...no credit card debt currently and not planning on any any time soon) but it's still money that could go toward the small amt. we do have left to pay down and that makes me feel guilty BUT we are set to pay off our car this month or next, then just one small student loan and we are through that step.....so I have a plan and don't feel tooooooooo terribly bad Or at least can do a good job of convincing myself......

The Coach outlet allows people to buy 5 of the same bag, or did I read that wrong? Around here, it's 3 identical sku within 45 days or something like that. Is there something special going on next weekend that I should go check out?
We have a Coach outlet in Potomac Mills (Woodbridge VA) but I'm itching to go to Williamsburg so I can shop at the better outlet mall there. It has LLBean, Dooney, Coach, Hanna Andersson and Janie & Jack stores. Must.stay.away. I'm here, just busy but trying to get back into posting and shopping. I'm finding that as I get older, I don't care as much for typing with one hand. lol My other hand keeps trying to reach toward the keyboard but baby Nolan isn't happy with that. He's doing well. Had some weight gain issues because he was a sleepy little guy. At his 2 week check he was still 1/2 lb under his birth weight but as of last Monday, when he was 4 weeks old, he weighed 7 lbs 6 oz, which is 3 oz more than his birth weight. He has a check-up this Friday and I would be surprised if he isn't over 8 lbs now. He's fallen into a pretty good routine on his own, sleeping for about 2 hours straight, up for about an hour, then another 2 hours of sleep, repeat all night. It's doable. lol Last edited by setsail; 08-07-2012 at 02:32 PM.. For clarification, setsail=

someone in a CVS thread (I think) mentioned TP and whether or not you have enough of it. This brought back memories of the old TCC with .teri., C4 and Thrifteh and their TP and PT forts. (I got hooked into reading from then too... I was gone for over an hour).
