I think I want in on the K-cup train, I'd like to try some different flavors. I'm excited to get my order tomorrow that has Butter Toffee and Wolfgang Puck's Blend. Too bad Fedex probably won't bring it before I wake up, so I'll have to have my regular for my wake up cup.

An interesting little tidbit of worthless information -- B. Dalton was started by Dayton Dept. Store. Dayton Dept. Store is who started Target. I learned that little bit-o-info from the CNBC show last week.
The two drawers in the bathroom are clean out and tidy. How in the heck did I manage to kill an HOUR cleaning out two little drawers that weren't too terrible to begin with? My sheets are washed and dried. Now, I need to remake the bed, figure out supper and get something out, and eat something for brunch. Oh, yeah, and vacuum. Dog (or dogs) got into the trash and there are coffee grounds and crumbs all over my kitchen carpet. My life is just so exciting I don't know how I do it.
Our high is supposed to 8 all this week.

Have any of you read her other book "The Host" ? It was a very good book, it was really hard to get into at first but once i got a couple of chapters in it was good.
So DH starts his new job tomorrow. I don't know if you remember me posting before Xmas about DH accepting a job and then the company ultimately changing the terms of his agreement for him to move to another city in FL? Well, he chose to stay with his same restaurant and move down here to work in the Tampa location. Well, 2 days after being in FL he got a call from his headhunter for another restaurant. He had a final interview with them on January 6 and they offered him the job the next day! He accepted the MUCH better offer and he had training yesterday and tomorrow is his official first day! I know he is really excited. He has been off from work since January 1 and has luckily been able to use accumulated vacation time (since he just gave his notice) to be off from work for almost 3 weeks.
We had our code compliance inspection today and if we passed, our property manager has tenants waiting to move in. I know some of you said you had renters...I am assuming most of you interact with your tenants, meaning they pay the rent directly to you?
I have The Host for my reader, but have not read it yet. My coworker told me the same thing, it was slow at first, but then got really good! I keep meaning to read it, but then someone suggested another series for me to read. I am currently reading The Vampire Huntress Legends series [vampire-huntress.com] and it is ok. Some of the parts are steamy and require my hubby and a locked door
I REALLY liked this series, but I saw the first movie before I started reading it, so it was easier to get into! The story gets better and better as it goes on! Very graphic in some parts though, so be warned!

it's hard when you have to wait almost a yr for the release of the next book. and you don't know when the library is going to get it. plus, i don't go to the library that often b/c when i do and i take out a stack of books, my life just comes to a halt until i finish them. so just like food i try to avoid too much temptation.
so i was waiting for i think book 3 to come out, saw it was available online thru the library and i could download it for free if i had a reader, but i've been lazy about it. just checked her website and now can't remember if i ever read book 3, faefever, or not, but now you say the end of dreamfever was so good i hear a giant sucking sound! (runs to get library card to access books online!) good thing xmas clearance and toy clearance are over w/ and i have a break to do other things besides go to target every day
don't know whether you've ever watched the tv show ghost whisperer (tear jerker) w/ jennifer love hewitt or not, but i feel the last season incorporated the *shadows* concept into their story. don't know if they were plagiarizing or maybe testing to see public reaction b/c i think i read on her website this series was opted to make a movie. i would go see it just to see how it compared to the books.

If he is still alive and dissapeared on purpose I hope he is happy but if he is that is a terrible thing to do to your family left behind. If it was my child I would never stop looking ever.

We don't use a property manager and we live across the state from our rental house. Our renter just deposits it in our bank account. Our bank is also on that side of the state.
How crazy is that, we have lived away from there for almost 14 years, we have no intention of moving back there, yet we still bank there.
