they've stopped teaching cursive writing in a lot of primary schools now, because typing and computers are so prevalent that there seems to be no need for cursive. pretty soon, writing in general will be a thing of the past.

hell, just the concept of paying with cash is so foreign now that a lot of the younger generation is completely flabbergasted when you give them a $20 at the cash register, then hand them a little bit of change after they've already hit the Total button. it's like umm, wait like....ok so yeah, carry the 1....

i've actually had a teenager tell me at the grocery store that she's already pressed the button and she can't accept my 3 pennies since i didn't give them to her in time.
