I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post their own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!




Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I guess I'll be a prayer hog and ask for more prays for DH. Pray that he gains some weight. His ribs now show from front and back. He has dropped down to 122 pounds. On Friday we get his staples taken out. He will have a ultrasound to see if the bypass has restored blood flow to the SMA, Pray

Thanks hug hug I'm glad she's home too. No results on cancer tests but as far as pain she's doing awesome. They gave her Lortabs and she hasn't needed to take them. I'm like "Mom! If you don't want them I'll take 'em!" lol

Pray I know all about switching meds over and over and over...I'm sure a lot of people here do. One works but has horrible side effects, another works but no side effects, one only works if you get up to a certain dosage but then you feel horrible, etc. I hope you're able to find the right balance soon.

My grandmother was in the nursing home at age 83. She's in the hospital now for fluid in the lungs. Feeding tube, oxygen mask, can't swallow. Frown
Family is going to see her this weekend, I really hope she makes it.

My mother-in-law revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer Wednesday. It's "only" a .7 cm mass (luckily -- it seems they caught it pretty early). She's having a lumpectomy Tuesday.

Prayers are appreciated.

My mother's funeral service was beautiful and all her sisters, brother and grandchildren were able to attend.. It was extremely hard for me to see her , my sister and cousin did her make up and hair. And they did a great job. I am having a hard time recinciling my feeling as my mother had some emotional issues, I do know she did the best she could and she loved us. I feel for my sister as they had some issues and they were not talking...they were back and forth a lot like this so at the time I felt it would all blow over in a few days... She ended up taking the bulk of the organizing and all the details for the funeral...
I pray for all of us there are lots of changes and I pray we will continue to support one another as the time passes.

On another note my bf got his job back..a few restrictions still, but he got it back!

I truly thank everyone for prayers an I know we are truly blessed to have support from such wonderful people!
