Prayer Request Thread.

My mother-in-law revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer Wednesday. It's "only" a .7 cm mass (luckily -- it seems they caught it pretty early). She's having a lumpectomy Tuesday.

Prayers are appreciated.

My mother's funeral service was beautiful and all her sisters, brother and grandchildren were able to attend.. It was extremely hard for me to see her , my sister and cousin did her make up and hair. And they did a great job. I am having a hard time recinciling my feeling as my mother had some emotional issues, I do know she did the best she could and she loved us. I feel for my sister as they had some issues and they were not talking...they were back and forth a lot like this so at the time I felt it would all blow over in a few days... She ended up taking the bulk of the organizing and all the details for the funeral...
I pray for all of us there are lots of changes and I pray we will continue to support one another as the time passes.

On another note my bf got his job back..a few restrictions still, but he got it back!

I truly thank everyone for prayers an I know we are truly blessed to have support from such wonderful people!

And for everyone who needs it. I haven't posted here in the past couple days but I have kept you guys in my prayers.

As for my mom, she's having a few complications but she did finally get her test results back and they all came back cancer free. She's been having issues for years where they have been keeping an eye out for cancer (bleeding when she shouldn't be, fibroids, etc) and I know that she's so relieved to finally have that behind her as far as this goes. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers

My grandmother was in the nursing home at age 83. She's in the hospital now for fluid in the lungs. Feeding tube, oxygen mask, can't swallow.
Family is going to see her this weekend, I really hope she makes it.

Just to update -- the mother-in-law's lumpectomy went well and they said her lymph nodes were clear...so it hadn't spread and they got rid of the lil' bugger. Thanks for the prayers.

Saw her this weekend, she's a lot better than I (and family) originally expected. Should be seeing her again next weekend.

Guess you found some unusual stuff at your dentist! Man, that had to suck really bad!




I'm glad she's improving. Old people can fool you, most are tougher than they look.
