Sweepstakes begins at 9:00:00 a.m. PT on January 23, 2012 and ends at 9:00:00 a.m. PT on February 9, 2012.
Only open to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia ("D.C."), who are physically located and residing therein (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions), who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Entrants must also have either a valid social security number and/or a valid U.S. personal tax identification number.
Must "Like" the Godiva Coffee Facebook page, enter through the Share the Love tab - https://www.facebook.co
Note: You do not have to submit an essay in order to enter the Sweepstakes.
To enter the Contest, follow the instructions to complete and thereafter submit the entry form by providing the following information: Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number (including area code), Address, City, State, Zip Code, Date of Birth, and one (1) essay in the English language responding to the Question: How you will Share the Love this Valentine's Day. How will you spend the day with your friends and family? (must be typed directly in the area noted for the essay – no copying and pasting the essay from a rich text document). Essay must be original (that is, written by you) and must be no more than one hundred (100) words in length.
Limit one (1) Sweepstakes/Contest Entry per person (based on email address) for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
Contest
All eligible Essays for the Contest will be judged based upon the following criteria: 1) Appeal of explanation of how entrant will "Share the Love" on Valentine's Day (50 points); and 2) "Creativity and storytelling" ability (50 points); with a possible of one hundred (100) total points and one (1) winner will be determined for the Contest. The contestant that receives the highest score based on the above judging criteria will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the contestant who receives the higher score for "Share the Love" theme will be declared the winner. In the event of a further tie, the contestant who receives the higher score for "Creativity and storytelling ability" will be declared the winner. In the event of a further tie, the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, shall choose a winner based on an evaluation of which contestant's Essay is superior overall taking all judging criteria into consideration.
Contest Grand Prize (1): One (1) $500 American Express gift card
Sweepstakes
Thirty (30) randomly drawn weekly winners (ten (10) per Weekly Sweepstakes) will receive one (1) of the following prizes: one (1) Godiva Coffee Apron (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $9.95; OR one (1) Godiva Coffee Tumbler (ARV: $5.95). Actual choice of prize awarded in Sponsor's sole discretion.
