16+, contiguous US (void MT, OR, WA), 5 entries per person/email address. Nominate yourself or someone else age 16-19 who deserves to win the Experience. Answer the questions explaining why they deserve to win. Ends February 29, 2012 @ 11:59pm ET

Prize: (1 winner) A 1-day Apprenticeship Experience/shadowing experience for the winning nominee at Universal Music Group's office in California. During the day he or she may meet with groups such as the following: Partnership Marketing & Non-Traditional Sales, Sales Team, Label Liaison Team, College Marketing, and/or Digital Marketing. Prize also includes a trip for winner and 3 companions including round trip air transportation for 4 from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to an airport serving Los Angeles, CA; 3 nights' accommodations at Sheraton Universal Hotel (single room, quad occupancy); Universal Studios Hollywood 1 Day/1 Park Exclusive Tour including park admission, complimentary valet parking, complimentary refreshments (coffee, bottled water) upon check-in, VIP tour credential and lanyard; opportunity for private character meet and greet (character determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), exclusive information, select backstage access (subject to availability) and Universal Express access to attractions at conclusion of tour; $1,000 spending money; $500 rental car allowance; and $2,500 that may be used to defray taxes. Winner must be available and must travel between July 1 – October 31, 2012, or prize will be forfeited. All travelers must travel on same itinerary. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by the Sponsor's airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. If trip destination is less than 250 miles from the winner's residence, winner will be provided $200 in spending money for driving expenses in lieu of air transportation and rental car allowance. Sponsor is not responsible if any scheduled event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason and winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. Tickets may be subject to issuer's standard rain-check policies and procedures. All expenses, travel, and other costs not expressly stated in the package description above are the sole responsibility of winner. If winner is a minor (as determined by his/her state of residence), one of winner's guests must be winner's parent/legal guardian. If any of winner's guests is a minor (as determined by his/her state of residence), winner must be minor's parent/legal guardian and must complete required paperwork on behalf of minor, as applicable. Travel companions must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of prize documents. Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, vouchers or certificates will not be replaced. By accepting ticket prize, winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions provided by the ticket. Sponsor is not responsible if winner does not use ticket on day of event. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $9,000. The ARV of travel may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value. Winner is responsible for his/her own timely transportation to and from the Apprenticeship Experience opportunity and is expected to dress and conduct him or herself in a professional manner throughout the experience. If a winner chooses to accept this prize, he or she will receive a 1099 form (required for all prizes with a value of $600 or more) and may wish to speak with a tax advisor for further information.

No substitution, exchange or transfer of prize by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.

Winner Determination: After the end of the Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges, determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will select the potential winner of the Apprenticeship Experience prize based on the following criteria:

*Creativity/Originality (40%);
*Quality of Submission (10%); and
*Fit to Contest Theme of Contribution to the African American Community and "Paying it Forward" (50%).

In the event of a tie, the Nominee named in the Submission that received the highest score for Fit to Contest Theme of Contribution to the African American Community and "Paying it Forward," as determined by the qualified judges, will be deemed the potential winner. NOMINATORS WHO NOMINATE ONLY SOMEONE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY PRIZE IN THIS CONTEST.
