DD had her first soccer game of the year. Her team won ![]() We hung out with my Dad after and the DH brought me to an awesome garden center to look at flowers and figure out what we want to put in the garden. He's going to re-mulch first and then we'll go back and start getting the flowers ![]() I think we're going to watch a movie at home tonight. He went to get popcorn and a few other things we need. How is your day? |

How fun! We saw The Avengers. It was freakin' awesome. I'd highly recommend it! OMG, I love planting flower gardens, how fun! I have one container out front I put flowers in - I'm making sure we pass all the snow storms first before I put any in. Our last one of the year usually comes the second week of May... ![]() I love movies at home, fun! ![]() My day was good, busy! Spent most of it at the library studying for finals. ![]() Then took a break and went out for Italian with my brother, his fiancée and her daughter. Always a good time! ![]() Have any plans for tomorrow? I'm studying all day... again. (In between walgreens runs that is... evillaf

Facebook status update.....ditb style:
It was a bitter sweet weekend for me. My kids have ruined my TV by banging on the screen. My boss gave me a small bonus for all of my hard work last month (just found out Friday) so I used that to go get one of the last 3 TVs at Best Buy for their going out of business sale. I got it home, mounted, and running when the Egg Man called me. His mom (my friend) died, and I headed over there to help him clean up and get her sent off to the funeral home. The poor guy was losing it at times, but who wouldn't.
The constitutions of most of our States and of the United States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of the press. -Thomas Jefferson, June 5, 1824

It's great that you were able to be there for him, though. He's going to need that a lot in the next couple of years. If not longer. |

![]() And he's in his mid 50s with a great wife who is there for him. We had a celebration of life, moonshine style, that night. I was so hung over on Sunday, but I went back over there. They were keeping themselves busy doing work around the yard. His mama was a good woman. She always hid the biggest eggs for when I came over and was asking for me to come over every night after work her last week. She'll be missed.
