So I'm applying for an internship for fall semester of this year. I'm meeting with my advisor tomorrow, and need to bring a copy of my resume and cover letter.
It's been a number of years since I've been out in the job world. Do you guys have any resume/cover letter tips or interview tips?
I'd very much appreciate any and all advice!
I'm really excited. But there's only about 10 different internships I've found relevant to what I want to do, and I know they'll all be pretty competitive, so I'm a little
Have you seen the Robot Chicken take on that?
i dunno if this is my favorite, but it's definitely in the Top 5

I haven't gotten the internship yet, though. I don't wanna count my chickens.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I'm having everyone I know look over my stuff and mock-interview me!
I love the happy Snoopy.

They tried to blame an error on my testing by not including me on any of the emails discussing the problem until they had all unified that I was the one to blame. I take that as a declaration of war. They should have known that I save EVERYTHING!!!!
Just showed them WITH THEIR DOCUMENTATION that the product was delivered with their specifications and it was failure to plan on their part that caused the problem. I tested based on their plan, and their plan was flawed. Kiss it, mutha farkas!!!!
Crap....i bet i just made some enemies again.
That's awesome that you can rub it in their face!
I'd very much appreciate any and all advice!
2) Don't cry during the interview
3) Be awesome

For some reason people don't like having their incompetence exposed

The resume only gets you in the door. It's the interview that gets you the job. Just don't attack their grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. and you should be okay.
I'm sure you'll do great. Just be yourself and sell why you are the best fit. If you want to be a teacher, I suggest you attack their grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc..
