I think you misread my post... and you sir are incorrect. laugh out loud It's the women's department that is always flooded with clearance racks full of last season's week's styles. Men's clothing doesn't really change much so there isn't a whole lot of reason to put the stuff on clearance (with the exception of shorts in the fall).

Have you not introduced your mom to SD? There are women's clothing deals to be had all the time here... and if your mom lives in a big enough town to have a TJ Maxx and Marshalls, there are undoubtedly deals to be had there and she's doing it wrong. Sorry. laugh out loud
Maybe in your area, I take my mom to the local stores and mall all the time, the women's department clearance is bare and still expensive compared to the mens. As for the mens, there is lots, I am always picking up polos here and there.

If your stores are flooded with cheap men's clearance, why are you paying $20 for polo shirts? Confused

I still call shenanigans. She's shopping at the wrong stores. Harhar

It's a RL Polo marked down to $20 from $60-80, the cheapest I ever found a RL Polo was $10, but that was one lucky occasion though. We shop at the local Macy's and Dillards and such store and then the local TJs and Marshalls. So IDK... it depends on area I would say.

No Kohls there? JC Penney? Bonton Stores (Bergner's, Herberger's, Carson's, Younkers, Elder-Beerman, Boston Store)? It was at a Herberger's that I scored those killer deals with the $50 off $100 coupon and they've been doing those coupons regularly over the past few months. Kohls always has tons of women's clearance and a lot of it is 75-90% off, and they almost always have at least a 15% off coupon floating around. JCP isn't as good since they went to their "fair & square" bs but they're still better than Macy's. Macys is expensive and personally I find their clothes to be cut weird a lot of the time. I've never lived near a Dillards so I can't speak on that one.

I asked a guy a question once. This dude was HUGE and the way he was lifting was like nothing I'd ever seen and would normally consider wrong/ improper. So I waited until he was obviously on a long rest and asked him about it. He took it as I was telling him he was doing it wrong and got all defensive. Which got me kinda pissed, so I basically told him to chill the fark out, I was trying to learn something from someone obviously more experienced. He calmed down and sort of answered my question, but since it was so much work, I never asked anyone anything ever again.

Iagree again. Doesn't matter where you live. You can find clearance ANYWHERE in women's clothes.

Out of that list, he'd probably only have a Kohl's or JC Penney nearby.

Yea only those two, never heard of those other stores.

No, I am not rich, I wish that was, aside from those couple polos, all my other clothes are normal clothes that I got for under $10.

I used that same coupon at Younkers last weekend. Smilie For Macy's watch for the $10 off $25 coupon. It works on their clearance. I was able to get a pair of Lucky Jeans and a Calvin Klein shirt for $15. Problem with the coupon is that it is only good to 1pm so I have to run there on my lunch hour.

So... you have two of the three store options I mentioned. Tell your mom to shop there and score some good deals. You're welcome. Smilie

I couldn't believe when they started including yellow dot on those coupons. Herbergers is going to make me go broke with these deals. laugh out loud

I forgot about the $10 off $25 at Macy's. I don't live near one so I don't get there very often. There are some decent deals to be had with that one.

We used to shop at JCP, then their prices started going up, and Kohls is a bit far from our home, we have to drive a good 15 to 20 mins to the closest one.
