Using a stock photos is probably okay. Daisypug said he/she won using a screen cap of the contest page. From the volume of entries they're probably receiving, my guess is everything is pretty much automated. When you upload a photo, their servers check to make sure it's not a duplicate, saves it and then puts your email address into the entry pool. Maybe they have human judges who scan the photos submitted by the winners once they're determined, but even then, they wouldn't know you submitted a similar photo unless you're lucky enough to win twice or like you said they go back and look at previous entries. And the rules don't really say anything against altering a photo -- just that you have to take and submit a photograph.

I started out using stock photos and photos from the internet but decided to take my own just in case since the rules do technically tell you to take a photo. I just didn't want to put in all the work of submitting pictures everyday and getting disqualified. But from the posts from some of the winners, it sounds like it's no problem.

I've been getting a lot of music...which is nice.

I've actually been taking new pictures each day. I think your picture doesn't work because the logos are at an angle. You took the photo pointing down, and the logos are not perfectly straight and flat. They're using some kind of scanning software, and it's way too picky.

I've done a couple of things to get "straight on" pictures. I put the items on a counter, with the soda on a small box. This gets the chip logo and the soda logo on the same level.

I crouch down and get the camera at exactly the level of the logos. I don't get too close, because the flash will cause washed out spots.

Then I crop the photo. I make sure the final photo shows the full chip logo, and the whole band that goes around the 2 liter soda.

Then I reduce the photo to 250-300 pixels wide. This works almost every time. At least, for getting the music downloads. I haven't won a prize.

I keep all the mp3 codes in a draft file in gmail. Just copy and paste straight from the screen. That way I don't have to depend on any emails coming.

I have about 12 mp2 codes from this promo...first one to pm gets them!

Was wondering if you think the excess codes I'm generating would be sellable on ebay? Generated 40ish codes so far, was trying to think of an outlet for them. I do most of my music on itunes, since I have a touch and ipad. Sadly, other music formats are not that compatible with said devices/program.
