open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and District of Columbia ("D.C.") only (residents of Alaska and Hawaii are excluded) who are 18 years of age or older (19 or older if a resident of AL or NE) at time of entry. void in AL, HI,
Limit one entry per household
No UPC number required in AZ, CO, FL, IL, MD, NJ, ND, TN & VT
including a UPC number from any J.W. Dog Toy (unless you live in one of the states listed above in which no UPC is required to enter). Next, prepare an original essay of no more than one-hundred (100) words, in English, explaining why you and your dog deserve to win a "DOG'S DAY AT THE BEACH" vacation.
Judging Criteria/ Winner Selection: All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of qualified judges based on the following two criteria: Originality (50%); and Creativity (50%).
Grand Prize: One (1) prize will be awarded, consisting of the following: A seven (7) day/six (6) night, (Sunday through Saturday) vacation for two (2) (winner and one (1) guest) and (1) one dog, at a rental house chosen by Sponsor near winner's choice of one (1) of the following Top Ten Dog Friendly Beaches in America: Delmar Beach, California; Fort DeSoto Beach, Florida; Dog Beach, California; Cape San Blas, Florida; Carmel City Beach, California; Hunting Island, South Carolina; Fort Funston State Park, California; St. George Island, Florida; Ft. Fisher State Recreation Area, North Carolina; or Pistol River State Scenic Viewpoint, Oregon. Prize includes: round-trip, coach class air transportation for two (2) from the major airport nearest winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor) to the chosen destination; round-trip air transportation of winner's dog (subject to airline rules/ restrictions regarding weight, size and breed); the use of a rental car, including one (1) tank of gas), for the duration of the stay (subject to age or other rental agency policies/restrictions that may apply); and J.W. Dog Toys of Sponsor's choice with a total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of $500. If winner's dog does not meet applicable airline's requirements for travel, the dog may not accompany winner on trip. Specific trip dates will depend on winner's choice of location; however, trip must be completed by 6/30/13. Further travel and/or accommodations restrictions may apply. All travel arrangements will be made through Bursch Travel /American Express.
Total ARV of Grand Prize: $5,000.00.
