Open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older.
registering for their chance to be a contestant in an on-air game to answer questions themed around Black pop culture
one (1) Grand Prize Winner will win the Trivia Game and be awarded the trip to the 2012 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion. Each morning starting June 4, 2012, two contestants from different generations (randomly selected from the pool of online entries since inception that have not participated on the air) will be contacted by a representative of The Tom Joyner Morning Show and given the opportunity to play the Trivia Game. The potential Trivia Game contestant will be called at the telephone number furnished by the potential Trivia Game contestant on his/her Entry. If the call is answered before five (5) rings and the potential contestant comes to the telephone within approximately twenty (20) seconds, and if potential contestant is available to participate, during show's live broadcast, then potential contestant will be deemed the actual Trivia Game contestant and given the opportunity to play the Trivia Game. Each actual Trivia Game contestant (2 total per day) will be asked a question(s) (up to 3 questions) about the other contestant's "school". The contestants will be provided several potential responses, including the correct answer from which to select. The first contestant to answer correctly when the other contestant answers incorrectly will win the trip for four (4) to the 2012 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion.
PRIZE(S). Prizes for this promotion are provided by Reach Media Inc. ("Prize Provider"). Total approximate retail value ("ARV') of all promotional prizes is $53,980.
5a. "Trivia Game" Prizes. Trivia Game Prize winners will receive a trip for four (4) to the 2012 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion, Thursday, August 30 – Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. Twenty (20) Grand Prize trips will be awarded. Transportation to and from Orlando, Florida is not included in the prize and is the responsibility of the winner. The ARV for each Trivia Game prize is $2,599.
5b. Twenty (20) total Daily Gas Card Prize Winners"Daily Gas Card" Prizes. Daily Gas Card Prize winners will receive a $100 gas card. Twenty (20) Secondary Prizes will be awarded.
