Priceline Cruises is having an exclusive offer on cruises. Receive up to $2,000 to spend onboard + $100 free hotel coupon. This is on top of whatever offers the cruise line is offering. Looks like this promotion is across the board for all Cruise Lines.

I see the "Exclusive: Up To $2,000 To Spend On Your Cruise + $100 Free Hotel Coupon!" deal with the Book By Monday button. But it looks like it only applies to Carnival, Celebrity, Holland, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean. Don't think it works for Disney Cruises :-(

What would be considered a good deal for an August cruise? I took a look at Priceline and found $721 for double occupancy on a 3 night Bahamas cruise. Seems a bit high to me, but I'm not so sure. Better deals to be had? The taxes really kill any deal, in my opinion.

They run this constantly no real deal here... We have booked about 9 cruises in last 4 years and leave for another in 10 days so I am constantly looking at them. This is pretty standard. Best thing to do is figure out what cruise you want and rough time frame and check it across multiple sites and check it often to find when that specific one has best deal instead of a blanket statement like this claiming all are a good deal right now.

Other things to note amex constantly has pretty good cashback bonuses on multiple cruise lines. Discover has 10% cashback with norwegian, oceania, celebrity and a couple others right now. Plus personally I am still in first year of one of my discovers so I have double cashback making that 20%. I used the chase reserve 100k bonus points and $300 travel credit to pay for most of an 11 day europe cruise with balcony room with alcohol package for my wife and I.

Probably just slickdeals working a deal with priceline to get some referral bonuses. Which I can live with if they post an actual deal instead of the normal priceline specials. Last week priceline had $150 onboard credit and prepaid taxes for first 2 people on top of the cruiselines specials because I really considered booking a trip with it.

Also if you do use priceline to book I would suggest checking cashback sites. One popular cashback often has 10% cb for cruises on priceline. Well worth the time on something you're generally spending $1k+ on.

Don't use Expedia. They do false advertising. Claimed I got a free pre-cruise hotel stay for my Hawaiian cruise. When i called to book the room, they claim ignorance and that I didn't book right. Then they told me that if I would've booked with that deal the rates would've been higher. What the??? How is that a free night at a hotel by raising the rates. I recommend booking with actual cruise line.

Book through a cashback site and keep that 10% or so for yourself.

priceline stock has gone up 3700% since 2006......meaning $5000 investment would be worth today $185,000.I think Billy S made a fortune!

Food and basic drinks (coffee, tea, juice...sometimes soda) are included in the cruise price.
Your credit can be used on alcohol, (soda if there is a fee, there are usually 2 more high end restaurants that charge a fee to get in (though it is still all you can eat), activities for sea days - like bingo; trivia, etc. There are plenty of stores on the ships as well. Taxes and excursions booked on the cruise itself can usually take ship credit
