Fantasy Football

I've been running an "unofficial" SD Fantasy Football league for the last few years. I need a few more folks to sign up.

It's a yahoo league, live draft next Wednesday at 9 PM EDT. We have 6 so far, need 4-6 more. No $$ involved unless I can convince Schoobs to throw in an SD t-shirt for the winner. Wink

when drafting this year, I remember thinking the wr position is deep this year. boy was I wrong. turns out only a few of these guys are putting up big points. jeez its been a rough one. My best team is 3 and 5 after this week. maclin and steve smith have been duds. cruz put up 2 points yesterday... what a year.
I am still only 2 games out of the playoffs.

Correction: The Eagles and Panthers offense have been duds. They just inherit said dudness through transitive properties.

Cruz has been a beast otherwise though.

Being a former TN Vol, I never laughed. I was just wondering how long it'd take before Peyton became Peyton again. And sure enough it started about the time when the rest of the players got on the same page and pace. This isn't the Tim Tebow/Kyle Orton regime and they just had to figure that out.

Wasn't laughing at Manning - just still don't know why you had to get him and Luck in the 1st and 2nd rounds. This isn't a keeper league.

^^^^ This. you could have gotten them way later in the draft. You drafted them with the first 2 picks.

Just because I like a player doesn't mean I'll take him 1st or 2nd in a draft, unless they're an elite player. I like Ray Rice, but if he wasn't 1st or 2nd round material, I wouldn't draft him.

Luck may be good, but he probably would've been available in the 8th or 9th round at the very least.

Yeah it's been irritatingly slow to hardly working at all. Stats are still coming through but hard to refresh them.

I'm tied for the lead with a 9-1 record but lead in points by only 0.05. Closest I've ever been in a league. How are you guys doing?

Yeah I read that apology email yesterday morning. Rolleyes2 Fortunately all of my teams were set up and active. It was just a bear trying to refresh stats.
