I am looking for a good, waterproof black eyeliner. What do you girls recommend? I have tried quite a few, and there is always some sort of trade-off, such as having great color payoff but runs or smudges. I really need something that is going to stay put. The best eyeliner I have tried so far based solely on waterproofness is Smashbox jet set, but this weekend I used it and was outside for a while in the cold and wind and my watering eyes made a mess of my eyeliner. I remember it being better, so maybe it's just getting old and dried out and not working as well, but I've only had it about 9 months. I am looking for something that I can wear swimming and in extreme conditions and maybe not stay perfect, but not end up a disaster. I am willing to compromise on other qualities, I have eyeliners that are good for most other circumstances. Any recommendations?

Try UD's Zero or Perversion! I love them!

The colorpayoff is AMAZING, and they're waterproof! I think they're the best eyeliners out there.

Thanks! Do you use the pencil or the liquid? I actually ordered the travel pencil set today with their friends and family sale. Only downside is I dislike traditional pencils, but if they're absolutely awesome I can probably get past that.

I use the pencils. The color payoff is really great. I have to be really precise with the pencil, so I keep it really sharp. I hope you like it. If you don't like the color payoff of zero enough, try perversion. It takes black to an entirely new level Smilie

Agree with Red333 about UD's 24/7 liner line [urbandecay.com]. I was also able to make strong waterproof lines with Stila's smudge pots [stilacosmetics.com], but after having them for a few years, they must have dried out a bit b/c some of them flake a little bit by late in the day. On eBay you can find listings w/ small ones of these 2 from larger sets so you can try them w/o committing to the full-size.
