This missing flight gets more bizarre every day. What do you think happened to it? Will it ever be found? Did it crash? Was it taken somewhere with all the passengers still on it?
Give your best ideas. Or your worst if you want to.

Is it possible that after crashing into the ocean, MH370 was eaten by something like a kraken? Not a kraken specifically (I know it doesn't exist), but just something exactly like a kraken.

Duh! Silly boys. Obviously it was Gamera, he's a turtle, so we know he likes water and he can fly, best way to snag an errant plane.

Gamera has the general configuration of a turtle, albeit a tremendously large one that is capable of walking on two legs and flying. He does occasionally walk quadrupedally in his first three films. Gamera demonstrates the ability to manipulate objects with his forefeet. He possesses a pronounced sagittal crest [wikipedia.org] on top of his head and his mouth is filled with teeth, which is unprecedented in turtles - with exceptions perhaps for the prehistoric turtles Proganochelys [wikipedia.org] and Odontochelys [wikipedia.org] - plus a pair of large tusks [wikipedia.org] protruding upward from the lower jaws.

"Welcome back to CNN and our continuous around the clock coverage of this greatest mystery in aviation history. Now that we have given you every possible detail of what water looks like in the vast Indian Ocean and have provided scientific analysis of random garbage floating there, we will now switch to something different.

We are back in the Boeing 777 simulator, where we will be determining whether the loss of the plane could have started with the pilot spilling hot coffee in his lap. To bring this exciting new theory to you we now turn it over to......

Wait....forget that! We just got word that some Americans have been killed at a military post by a GUN!
We will suspend our coverage of Malaysian Flight 370 to bring you continuous coverage of this new tragedy as details become available. No doubt the shooting was done with an ASSAULT RIFLE, but even if it wasn't we will show you multiple views of these scary-looking guns and our experts will discuss why nobody has any need to own these evil killing weapons. Then we will ridicule anyone who suggests that soldiers should be allowed to carry weapons on base for self-defense.

We will have our new banner and intro music ready for this coverage in just a few minutes."

Yep. The mudslide that killed 28 and counting didn't even knock the Malaysian Flight news off the headline but this will hold the spot for days... Heck, the death toll in the mudslide is still climbing with 20 people still missing and it's not even on the front page at all...

On Saturday the Haixun 01 - one of two Chinese ships in the area - picked up the signal at about 25 degrees south latitude and 101 degrees east longitude, the state-run Xinhua news agency said [xinhuanet.com].

They say the signal has a frequency of 37.5kHz - the same as those emitted by the flight recorders.

"It is yet to be established whether it is related to the missing jet," it cautioned.

The head of the Australian agency co-ordinating the search said the reported signals "are consistent with the aircraft black box" but "there is no confirmation at this stage that the signals and the objects are related to the missing aircraft".

I didn't have much faith that China actually found anything useful with this given their history in this search, but now I am hearing that the U.S. Navy has also now picked up signals that are "consistent with those emitted by aircraft black boxes".

They may be finally be zeroing in on either the crash site, or at least the location that China dropped the black boxes into the ocean after recovering them from the actual wreckage where the plane was shot down.
