what's not good about it is that i bought stuff i wouldn't have bought. spent money i wouldn't have spent.
I don't really need anything either, but that deal was too good to pass up for those of you who caught it. My DH & DS could really use clothes, esp. DS. He's so hard on clothes that he needs a new wardrobe yearly. I'm sure I could have found men's clothing to buy. Hopefully, I'll catch the next one.

5"3, I have a longer torso and short legs though. Its not really "cropped", its just long enough but if I lift my arms and I'm wearing low rise bottoms, my belly will show slightly (like 1/4 inch). I really prefer longer length stuff in general though and am really picky with top length, so its probably fine for a normal person.:l ol:

After saying that, I ordered this "cropped" top to wear under a cardigan and really like it. I think it was $4. I wish it came in a regular length, its really pretty. It probably would have sold out if it wasn't cropped.

That's a cute top. Does it show any skin on you? I'm shorter than you, so any crops that work for you would definitely work for me.

Quote from s2000stealthbox :
:w ave: You were probably out having a good time instead of sitting home stressing out about placing your order before the stacking ends! It was my first time getting in on an Express stacking deal and I found it stressful placing orders because I kept thinking they were going to fix the stacking. And now I'm stressed out about where I going to store the clothes I ordered because my closet is full : O
I think it happened while we were finishing packing up & moving. That wasn't any fun at all.

Quote from nerdicus :
You're not the only one - I missed it too! :h ug:

better for me this way tho... I have enough clutter as it is. I've been giving a bunch of unworn stuff to a friend.. I have too much crap. And now I'm going to have to pay to move my crap... :sh ake: clutter is evil!!
Now I see why stacking was working. You weren't around to catch it. Stick Out Tongue I have a lot of unworn stuff too, but that deal would have been hard to resist.

I totally did 15 days in carry on luggage :wh ee: ! The wedding was insanely huge (1200-1400 guests) and beautiful. probably the biggest budget one we will ever attend... It was actually covered on the local news and our hotel told us they saw us :e ek: it was just the reception and the bride had 3 different dresses; 1 for the press conference, 1 for reception and 1 for the afterparty... Which turned out to be the dancing part of the reception. We had a good time although my overly ambitious dance moves at the wedding landed me a nasty foot sprain that required a hospital visit and crutches/wheelchair for the last half of our trip :/ I danced with the father of the bride, bridesmaids, their tailor that had custom made all the suits for the men and his BF (despite claiming to know no English, he exclaimed to me "I f-ing love you!" :l ol: ), really anyone that would come near me was in danger of some kind of modified cha-cha. We had a blast despite not understanding any of the toasts and 90% of the music. They are a fun loving people that have rhythm and that's really all you need. : )
What a wedding! I was going to ask if they were royalty or something, but see they are celebrities. This is the first time I've ever heard of a wedding press conference.

Sorry, you sprained your foot. hug That's not a fun way to spend a trip. I'm glad you were still able to enjoy it. If I were you, that would be the last trip I went on with that tour organizer.

Quote from PordaPoddy :
: hug: moving is a tough process and so hard on the body. New places take time to adjust to and be given the fair chance it deserves. You know I'm crazy cheap and we spent over $1k moving down the block and I still think it was worth not having the body wear and tear and the inevitable fights. Tell your man he can think that, but not mention it to you for the time being : P

I saw that on the news before we got on our connecting flight to Narita, JPN but hadn't followed it since we got back Mon. Hope your DH stays safe.

:hu g: dork. You know what the solution is ; )

can you imagine if he could?! :ee k: scarred for life! :lo l:
If we ever do a full move (not just to NC for summers) again, I may give in & let him hire movers. It's hard for me to fuss too much about it this time, since it was my idea to do it ourselves. I'm just annoyed that he's already talking about moving again. No, thanks! He definitely needs to keep those thoughts to himself. Annoyed

i like it. looks plain, but i like plain and those tend to last the longest... i don't use bright colors for the most part.

There are no men's clothes in clearance. Seriously, there's about one page of stuff, and half of it is bow ties. Unless your ds/dh wear a lot of accessories, don't feel so bad.

nod yes I was on the road and I notified everyone I would be. So that must be why so many got in on it! I'm not sad tho. Happy for those that got such great deals!

Porda, I forgot to commend you on your packing skills. Fourteen days with carry-on luggage?!? I'm impressed!Applause

Thanks for the men's clearance info. That makes me feel better. I hadn't even looked. Now that we can't use coupons on clearance, I don't check it often. I usually get a better deal, before stuff goes to clearance. The stacking would have been an exception. Like you, I'm glad some of them were able to take advantage.

You're smart to be packing up gradually. If it's not too personal of a question, when are you moving? Are you staying in the same area?

OMG.. laugh out loud

I don't have an Express, Nordstrom, JcPenney, Target, Sears, or Macys card yet, thankfully.... I'm holding out... Each is tempting in their own way....

I do have a VS & Kohls charge though Teehee

DH is opening up to the real idea of buying a home here! He mentioned that he's interested in having a second child, I asked him if he's ok with me not working, I also said that we wouldn't all fit where we're renting. We're going to talk to his mom tomorrow, since she researches homes and goes to open houses as a hobby, about the next steps, and her opinion. It might be that we're not ready, we'd be first time homebuyers. DH is stressed, thinking about it all. Meanwhile, I have a giant list of must haves, wants and bonus features I'm interested in, I used my sisters home buying list as a blueprint. I even did this rough sketch of what we're looking for as far as space. The bedrooms can be moved around and put on a second floor, but I really want a combined open living room, breakfast nook, kitchen. When I was little, I would dream about floor plans, and home interior design, while everyone was dreaming of their perfect wedding laugh out loud

I'm a complete newb at this, so I'm sure I'll be getting lots of advice. We have enough saved for a deposit and a little extra for repairs and we both have excellent credit. DH isn't comfortable giving up all he's saved. I don't want to push this, if he's really not ready, but homes in this area are rising and so will interest rates.

I know DH and I are going to be looking at buying a house at the end of next summer, so if I applied for everything I wanted now, the inquiries won't affect my score in a year and the new lines of credit will help raise my score.

Time to break them in! Whee

I applied for Kohl's but didn't get an instant decision which was odd - I have the Target debit card so I don't need any others from there...and Macys, Bloomies, or Nords are just a problem waiting to happen haha
