When we bought our current house, the goal was to install a pool at some point. We chose this particular home in part because the back yard would accommodate an inground pool nicely. When we installed our fence a couple of years ago, we kept one of the posts not in concrete to allow a section to be removed easily for the equipment to be brought in.
"Before" of the backyard, after the materials were delivered and pool company getting ready to start to dig:
After first day of digging (Monday 8/25). First pic is where a hot tub will eventually be situated:
After second day (Tuesday):
After installing the pool wall forms on the third day (Wednesday):
Not much was done yesterday. Waiting on footings inspection today, so not much getting done today either. Hoping to backfill and get electrical work done next week.
Here's what it likes like as of Thu. 8/28. Got the footing inspection Fri 8/29, so work should start back up on Tuesday:
Backfilling is complete; pump and heater is in place. Waiting on first electrical inspection:
