I'm getting emails for "Thursday Freebies"
From: Slick Deals <Slick_Deals@mail.vresp.com I go to the linked website, and it's not SlickDeals it's "Awesome Freebies & Deals" the URLs given for the freebies are tinyurls, and they lead to one of the following sites a) the forums on their website (which looks legit) b) the website of the company offering the freebie or a coupon website (OK here) c) a scammy website (a large portion of the tinyurls look to be these, though I haven't tried many, for obvious reasons) I suspect this is NOT associated with Slick Deals. Am I right? |

Does anyone know if a free t-shirt from CubeBix is fake? I've had a couple people tell me it is, and a couple tell me it's not... I don't think I saw it on the front page.

Looks like there's another fake from this place. Constant Contact is a legitimate company that helps other businesses maintain their email lists. Anyone can sign up for a free 90 day trial though, and the URL is a dead giveaway with "visitor" in it. The address listed on the email response is Family Safety First 1781 North Beverly Hills CA 90210 No such address exists A business search found no such business name in the area either. I'd highly recommend steering clear of this one. Here's the full email I received. Check out all the typos (or at least missing spaces).
