Dell is offering their very own name brand SSD with a technology-shattering 3.8TB of space for just $10,369.99! Shipping is free when you spend over $10,350.00.

Edit: WOW! Looks like they already sold out of this incredible deal! It looks like the 960GB version is still available for $2,879.99!

(I stumbled upon these while I was looking for a replacement hard drive. I bought a 1TB for $300 back in January and it was Dead on Arrival. After 2 months of going back and forth with Dell customer service, they finally sent me my refund as a "coupon" for $300 that requires you to spend AT LEAST $300.01 in order to use it, AND it expires in 90 days. So basically they found a way to make me spend more money in order to get any sort of a refund for their broken products. This is after they sent me 2 TVs that were shattered and also took months just to get the total amount refunded, and it was in the form of 10 (TEN) Promo gift cards that you can only use 3 per order and expire after 90 days. TL;DR - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DELL. EVER. )

Quote from cav :
you do realize this is an enterprise SSD, hence the price? completely different animal from what you walk up to on the shelf at your local BB for around $399 for 3.8TB. if you were aware of this, you wouldn't have posted a product in line with the rest of the market with regards to cost. but instead, you think this is like one of those ripoff Amazon purchases for a $290,832,184 watch that is a funny "great deal" that you want to share with the SD community.
it's a bad deal however you cut it. dell is charging a few thousand to put this into [sabrepc.com]a 3.5" enclosure
