What song evokes the most emotion from you?

Tears, chills, etc.

For me, it's an incredibly well done a cappella version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".

Perfect example [youtube.com].

I simply can not watch the above video without tearing up with joy.

I never expected an episode of Sons of Anarchy to bring tears to my eyes but the music selection and placement was brilliant at times in the series. I'm not sure how powerful this scene is for someone who wasn't familiar with the story line but this might be my favorite tear-jerker from a TV show ever. the Patty Griffin song makes it hit even harder.

TR I'm assuming you've seen Pentatonix's version of Hallelujah?

Different songs get me at different times. Yesterday after a hard leg workout I was dragging ass on the treadmill & the theme from "Top Gun" came up on my playlist. I pounded out an extra mile feeling awesome - I haven't heard that music in probably 20 years (put it on my playlist just for fun, and I always run it on "shuffle").

Hallelujah is a good one.

Little Drummer Boy is another for me.

I am a sap though and there are many can "get me".. which is why I tend to just listen to rock and alternative.. ain't got not time for all of those emotions laugh out loud Flex

This one is definitely up there for me: Karlie McKinnon - Little Notes [bandcamp.com]
And I still get goosebumps every time I listen to Tori Amos - Silent All These Years [youtube.com], too.

Hallelujah is much more evocative when I'm performing it with a group than when I'm listening to it.

for different reasons, and in different moments, certainly play a factor.

as a father, Butterfly Kisses and There Goes My Life
generic in the feels, Read all About it, Hallelujah

and of course people putting their own rendition and arrangement can cause the feels
Jessie J cover during X-Factor by Jillian Jensen [youtube.com] you can see her pour it all out there
Labrinth cover sang by Josh Daniel [youtu.be] during X-Factor

will be adding to this list later, as it is quite a lengthy one.

Bagpipes at a funeral.

My Great Uncle (My Father's Uncle) served this country and we made damn sure he had Honor Guard and Colors Presented.
Bagpipes were played for this.
This lead the service and I had a hell-of-a-time pulling myself back together to then conduct the rest of the service. I broke the Minister is not supposed to cry rule.
