Just figured out a workaround for recording the F1 pre-race program. Set it up as a wishlist for 'Formula One Pre' and set it to record the wishlist programs. Really annoying that Tivo won't let me set it up with a season pass, but they have it flagged as a special so it's being seen as a one off, instead of a regular occurrence show that coincides with the F1 races.
Realized today that my clothes are too big. Got out a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to sqeeze into for a couple of years and they're already too big, I missed the window where they would have fit.
Have to dig out all my old skinny clothes and see what will or won't fit tomorrow. Guess as problems go, that's a good one to have.

We didn't do much today, hurting a bit so took it easy and then went for a coffee this afternoon. Got lots of reading done though. Have you ever heard of a series called Wool? It's quite good if you like science fiction stories, although it's not space fantasy related, it's more of a story about a possible future of mankind.

be really careful for Monaco, it sounds like they are doing something really weird. I get the distinct impression that at least some, if not all, of the guys will actually be in Monaco, Hobbs was saying it has been years since he's gone. They were also talking about a F1 prerace on NBCSN at 7am eastern, followed by coverage on NBC at 7:30am - which means a full hour of pre-race coverage, near as I can tell? I guess we won't know until the listings come out.
Could be very cool if they are actually in Monaco, here's hoping for some good features and on the ground stuff from the race weekend
I was happier with this race's pre-race coverage, too - I'm all for them throwing it to Will on the grid and letting the camera follow him around - it's great to see that atmosphere that so few of us actually have any access to
Wasn't much of a race for your boy Hamilton
I thought it was a good race, a bit processional at the end for the top few spots, though, but good strategy by all the teams, it will be interesting to see what adjustments are made for the next race.
on that note, g'night AMT
Much slower at work today, finally. I've been waiting for things to slow down for ever. I have about two things to do by the end of the month, then just longer term projects to be working on. This is the first time in months I've felt okay about how much time I have left for things.

They're going to change the tires sooner than they had originally stated, saw an article about it today. Now they'll have the new tires ready in time for the Canadian race.
A Bothell family that was struck by a snow-laden tree on Highway 2 last December has filed claims against the state that could turn into a multimillion-dollar lawsuit.

got out at 4:50, got stuck in traffic in San Antonio, had dinner in San Marcos, didn't get back to the office until 7pm or so
I need to decide, soon, what I'm going to do this weekend. I posted on my condo bulletin board that I was looking for Friday or Saturday V8 supercars tickets, but only got one response, with a link to the groupon/living social deal for $30 Saturday only admission (add in ticket master fees and $30 cash parking, and it's still a ~$70 day, I was hoping to get something a little cheaper than that). I was hoping somebody would have a full weekend plan and parking, but not need any of the Friday portion and I could go for really cheap. maybe I'll look around on craig's list tomorrow and see if I can find anything.

No other races catch my fancy, other than horse races.
Spent the day doing stuff around the house. Finally got around to framing a photo, then realized I couldn't frame the other one because the mat is slightly too big.
