Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

how do they get away charging tax on supposed free service?
The same way they get away with charging tax on the retail price of a discounted or free phone on contracts.

Got my order in before it died. Just got an email that my BYOD sim shipped.

In one of my emails it stated:

"There's one more step before you get your 1 year of FREE unlimited!

When you get your SIM card(s), go to sprint.com/activatenow to activate them, switch your number to Sprint and start enjoying your FREE 1-year of unlimited service."

I guess this a go! We'll see!

Really hope you are able to do this. I just went to that activate page and it looks pulled as well..."Hmm.. We can't find the page you're looking for."

How's the coverage and signal for calls and 4G on Tmo. We couldn't get more than 1 bar of signal at my house in the middle of a large city.
Coverage inside the building is still lacking as they dont have right bands yet. I believe they got some in recent auctions to improve that portion. We ended up getting cell tower from them

Outside coverage is great. If I have to rate three carriers I used then I would rate them as per below

VZ: 100 inside building, 100 outside, 100 in rural areas
Tmo: 70 inside building, 95 outside, 80 in rural areas
Sprint: 50 inside buildings, 50 outside, 10 in rural areas
(Please note that Sprint experience is 2.5 years old in Washington DC, but they had LTE working then as well. I would think they improved somewhat since then)

T-Mobile has better coverage in rural areas than Sprint, really?

Same here. But this activatenow website isn't there so it's not making me too hopeful.

So I received my sim card from UPS. There was nothing in the package about the unlimited promotion or anything, just the card. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to go through the steps on the site. I wish there was something stating that they're still going to give the unlimited promotion to you if you follow through with the activation and port.

Edit: I talked to Sprint Live Chat and they assured me that I would receive the free service! They also told me what my estimated taxes would be on it. So looks like I'll be moving to Sprint.

I'm on Twigby right now (Sprint MVNO), didn't work even though it's a phone that I got from Sprint as a former customer.
