Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

That's odd because I'm on a TMo MVNO (Ultra Mobile) and both my mobile number with IMEIs of a Moto G4 (Amazon adware version) and a Nexus 6P are eligible. I wonder if it's your network?
The number is on T-Mobile prepaid right now. Used on Ring plus and H2O before. Maybe the problem is that both my Nexus 6P and Moto X Pure were activated on Ringplus before.

Is this so they can somehow screw you? Tempting if they didn't eff up my credit after 15 years with them. They did not put international on when they said I had it. $515 for a short out of the country trip. Fought it hard, no luck.

Ah, that could be the issue. Ringplus was on the Sprint network, right? (I missed out on the halcyon days of that free "forever" carrier.)

The wording on the promotional page says that phone numbers associated with:

SPRINT or SPRINT RELATED ENTITIES

Are not eligible. They probably have a way to check how long the phone number has not been with sprint.

Also all prepaid carriers who use any of sprints network at all will not qualify.

If you are with Verizon, ATT, or T-mobile OR one of the prepaid carriers who utilize their network then you should qualify.

I just verified numbers and imeis from ATT prepaid.

Sim cards ship overnight. No point wasting time going to store for 10 bucks.

Awesome deal, thanks for posting op.

My iphone SE shows as qualified. It;s on AT&T and is the variant that is not supposed to work on Sprint. I'm not moving but if anyone else is, watch out for this.

Wait what? My Mint Sim phone # did *NOT* pass the verification system. Which is why I'm asking if anyone was able to switch from Mint Sim to this 1 year free deal.
All three of my iPhones currently on MintSim passed the eligibility check.

Judging from comments on this thread seems like people are having problems with ANY Nexus phone passing the check, even if they are unlocked. Someone else mentioned you have to contact Spint tech support and open a ClickIt ticket (sp?) and get them to port the IMEI from pre-paid to post-paid. Nothing to do with your phone, it's something on Sprint's end.

Must be a Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile customer bringing new lines to Sprint.
You must own the phone(s) you're bringing to Sprint.

link for the lazy [sprint.com]
I was TMo and ported out to TPO which is again Sprint network. I am shown as eligible.

My last day of my $70 a month t-mobile unlimited plan is today. Anyway I can get this deal without paying another $70? My SIM won't arrrive until Thursday most likely. I can survive without phone service for a day or two, but supposedly when you port numbers over, your old service still needs to be active? Should I just turn my phone off (unlocked and eligible CDMA/GSM iPhone), leave the account alone, then get T-Mobile customer service to refund my monthly fee when I tell/show them that I had no usage on it? Any other ideas/suggestions? I'm on Eastern time so I think I've got 2 hours to figure this out...

I hate Sprint. Caused me so much trouble back in the day when they had their $80 unlimited everything plan. But this is still tempting.

I wonder if coming from a T-Mobile $30/month prepaid plan still qualifies.

Am I understanding correctly that this is free for one year? My GF has one line on T-Mobile paying $60+ per month. This seems like no brainer

I have 2 lines on AT&T currently paying $160 a month for unlimited. Costs $125 to cancel my contract, phones are paid for.

Have been considering switching to T-Mobile for $100 a month and they pay the $125.

Any reason to skip this deal?
