Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

The big question that still has not really been answered is....just because a phone and phone number is eligible, does that still mean that you can port your number over and be eligible for the 1 year free? Can anyone confirm being successfully able to qualify for the free unlimited year without previously being a customer of Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile? I'm on the phone right now, trying to see if it's an option or I will have to be doing some quick canceling.
Yes, my port completed this morning. The confirmation email specifically said I would get the 1 year of free service.

Can you walk me through the steps you're thinking?

The way I figure...
1) Port in for free Sprint deal w/eligible phone and number (I'd use H2O)
2) Use that (now Sprint) phone number to order from BB.com as an upgrade to existing line.
3) Get iPhone 7 32GB at $360
4) Unlock with VZW SIM during initial activation
5) How to get activation fee waived and/or bonus using this? http://www.lovemycreditunion.org/...ashrewards
Yes, that's a very good plan. I didn't even know you can Unlock sprint iphone with VZW SIM during initial activation.

Apparently you can, assuming you order from BB.com

No, you can't. However, maybe you can swap from Sprint website after your Sprint account has been activated.
How easy is it to swap the sim between phones if you want to such as you change the phone to a different one? Never faced any problem with ATT and Tmo

Hmm. Still considered ATT though. I wonder if USCC would be eligible. I guess I'll report back when I know. I did receive the initial email that said I would receive the 1 year free upon activation. Just have to wait for the SIM. So will use that if there is a problem I guess.

You are right because BB will turn it on and activate it with Sprint if you buy it in store.

After 10/1/17, you can upgrade to a new Sprint phone by leasing or purchasing it in monthly installments - you'll still enjoy your free year of service. Any upgrades prior to 10/1/17 will require a plan change to Unlimited data, talk and text and you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service.

Why are all of the Verizon 6's, 6S's, 7's, SE's that I am checking coming up with as not compatible?

Usually if you're doing byod through a post paid carrier they don't let you do an upgrade through installments for 6 months. but sprint may be different. i know its that way on verizon and att

Would the $360 iPhone deal qualify as "purchasing it in monthly installments"?

EDIT: I guess not, as the only options on BB.com for the $14.99 month price are either upgrade, or add a new line. Frown
