Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Am on Cricket but phone and number show as eligible so was going to take a gamble. My month ends today so would not be able to wait until tomorrow for SIM card to show up and activate/start port or else on hook for another month with cricket. Can I start port today before SIM cards arrive?

The U11 does not have CDMA... It does VoLTE with Verizon, so it is not eligible for entry into Sprint's system. You need the Sprint version of the device - and even that is not on the approved device listing for this deal.

Best way I've found to do it is to take advantage of the SD 15% off Moto site coupon, grab a few Moto G4 Plays or even G5's and move them in. You're looking at a sub $200 price on the G5's and free service for a year. The best part is, you even have time to take them to VZW right now, sign up for service and then move them to Sprint to get the deal. If you have good Sprint coverage in your area, it's a total steal!
Sprint has HTC U11 presale.

When you signed up for Verizon did they do a hard pull on your credit? If that's the case, are we talking about 2 hard pulls for 1 year of service?
That's true, but multiple quick checks don't hurt as much as when they are spread out. For example, when you make a major purchase they ask you why you had so many CC's in a short time. If you do them all together - Verizon, then Sprint - you will look like you just went plan shopping and they won't ding your score any differently than if you just ran one...

"If your FICO Scores find some (inquiries), your scores will consider inquiries that fall in a typical shopping period as just one inquiry. For FICO Scores calculated from older versions of the scoring formula, this shopping period is any 14 day span. For FICO Scores calculated from the newest versions of the scoring formula, this shopping period is any 45 day span. "

Hope that clears that up for you.

This may get a flame or two, but I am so tired of "I had _____ for years before I moved to Verizon in 2014 and they sucked." H
If you been here long enough you WILL ignore those messages, just like every thread for Apple there are 20 percent of post which tell you every Apple product is overpriced/suck laugh out loud

I've read where this promo is likely to have limited success. I mean it's FREE money and a company giving away their product for a year saving the customer potentially thousands of dollars. If Sprint can't pick up customers with FREE, aren't they finished? I can't imagine how they wouldn't pick up millions of new subs with this!
Well, the problem is not everyone can take advantage,
1. you need a phone that is compatible,
2. Most American has monthly lease on their phone and they cant AFFORD to pay it off at once (which is sad)
3. Not everyone has good Sprint coverage

Tried searching and couldn't find the answer but I currently have 3 lines with T-Mobile. anyway know if I can port 1 number over from T-Mobile to get this promotion and then port the remaining numbers after 7/30 and those lines will still be free? Reason I have to wait is because I'm still waiting on some credits from T-Mobile. Thanks

I have a Galaxy S8+ on AT&T postpaid service that is paid off and it says I'm not eligible. Is this tool accurate?
my factory unlocked Galaxy S8 with a pre-paid T-Mo number worked, so it maybe be that your phone is an AT&T one, even though it's unlocked and technically has a CDMA radio

my nexus 5x is not compatible. it was originally bought from google store. it is a factory replacement from google now since my 1st one bit the dust due to bootloop. wonder if that has anything to do with it?
i really want this deal. im on project fi now.
Quote from tumadreconcaso :
Per device eligibility you are probably not able to participate:
•Google Nexus 5 (Verizon only)

Sorry for the bad news.
This has nothing to do with Nexus 5X not eligibility

People are able to port 5X without problem if you check previous posts.

The problem with OP is he is on Project Fi which use Sprint network so his phone is on Sprint database, so the only way he can get in this deal is port it to one of the providers ATT/Tmobile/Verizon or any of the MVNO.
