Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Alright, finally I've got it working. Signal isn't that strong in my house but I've been getting anywhere from 10-35 Mbps down and about .2-2 Mbps up. This is in NYC.

For reference, I have an unlocked Verizon model iPhone 7+ bought directly from Apple and was using it on prepaid T-Mobile.

If I have an Iphone 6+ that has been reset and not currently activated, will signing up for this service this lock my phone to Sprint from this point forward?
I know on VZW they are unlocked and if purchased from apple they are too. The 6 should have all the bands and radios for use on all the networks.

What about an Verizon iPhone 7 Plus?
VZW phones are unlocked because that was part of the deal with the FCC when they were purchasing bandwidth(if memory serves correctly) or the were sued because the phones were locked during the payment plan.

My process for this deal was, I went to best buy and bought a sprint network sim card. Just ask the mobile dept reps, you want to purchase a sim card only for sprints network. Cost is $5

Then call the 866 number listed in the thread, mention this deal and how you are a verizon customer and you want to switch. Make sure you have your VZW account number and they will do everything for you over the phone. Took 35 minutes for me.

Also, try the IMEI check for eligibility. Heck, try the IMEI check on t mobile
And freedompop. Also, make sure your account is active and not deactivated.

Has anyone successfully ported in from Ting? Or, does it matter where your phone number is, as long as your phone is eligible?

The PIN to port out from FreedomPop is not your regular password. I had to contact them for a 4-digit PIN.
Is it the same as the pin you create on the setting page of your online account login?

If you login to fp, under account setting, it allows you to edit your 4 digit pin number.

Is the account number also your phone number with area code and do you need anything else to port out?

Is my assumption that the additional lines must be added by 6/30 in order for them also to be free? If I open an account and add a line this month, would an additional line added after 6/30 cost $30 per month...or how much?

Change ESN? I assume that you mean swapping the device to a different device, that shouldn't be a problem at all. I already did it. You can't upgrade your device in 120 days but you can swap it to your other device.

**********************
If you mean changing the esn/IMEI of the phone to new IMEI (cloning) then that is illegal. Not only they will cancel the service but you could go jail Smilie Smilie

I hope that answers your question.
did you do an esn change to a device not in their promo list?
