Wondering if there's any way to make this worth doing if you don't already own one of these phones..
Thank you for your reply.
*123*YourZIPcode*02#
Replace "YourZIPcode" with actual 5 digit zip code.
This will activate $2 daily plan.
Call ATT rep and he'll add $2 to your account. You need to provide your debit or credit card number to rep. I m not sure of online you can top up your account with $2
I chatted online and it seems that if your credit score is not "normal" being "750-800" you'll probably have to do this deal over the phone. Which is a big bummer as it's much easier to hand over all the info numbers online.
Both our credits are good so we both thought this was pretty lame, we're still going to call in as it's tough to be free.
once you get the sim active, you should be able to swap to any sprint whitelisted phone, just go online or call and swap ESN/IMEI numbers (and keep the same ICCID (sim) or use an old/new sim of your choice.
Sprint is CDMA and the talk part of the phone uses the phone ESN/IMEI where the data uses the ICCID, you need to pair the ESN and ICCID on your account to have the phone and sim work. If you use an old 3g phone, you will not need an ICCID which is for the LTE (GSM) portion of their service.
tl;dr No, you have to call or go on line and switch your active phone on your line of service. You can not sim swap like with tmobile/att/verizon.

I think Yes, ask a friend who does not have sprint if you can use their IMEI.
use friends IMEI, get sim from sprint/apple store.
activate line
swap phones to whitelisted sprint phone (does not have to be from promo list).
since iphone 5, all the sprint sims I have gotten from the apple store have been the same upc. from my understanding, apple store has one sprint sim compatible with all iphones. I suspect this is the same for any store that sells sprint iphones.
