Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

In NYS, the EFFECTIVE tax and fee rate is 25%. That means that in NYS, the price for 1 "free" sprint line is $15 after taxes and fees. For 2 "free" lines, it's $25, and so on and so forth. (I assure you, this is accurate because I was once upon time a Sprint customer and these percentages are correct).

[So this is very YMMV, depending on what state you're in. If you're in a high tax/fee state, stay far far far away from this deal.
Only if you don't/won't ever use much data. Nobody else offers unlimited plans for anywhere near that price per line (including taxes/fees).

You signed up for the promo after you already signed up for a new Sprint account? I only got an offer code that needs to be given to Sprint
After reviewing all my confirmation emails and the order in which I got them, I'm pretty sure I created a My Sprint profile before I even visited the AAdvantage promo page. I don't remember the exact steps or information I provided for the promo, but I didn't explicitly enter an offer code into the AAdvantage registration page. Nor did I receive an offer code to provide to anybody. Maybe when I filled out the registration page, the form was pre-populated with the offer code but I didn't notice it.

I ported my Google Voice number, but my account is still updating. I do already have calling and data on my phone though. The number is already ported over too. (The port was scheduled for later, but I called and he did the port-in on the spot for me)

My MySprint app is showing
"Unlimited - Bring your own phone
  • Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
  • Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data.
  • $5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (Free with AutoPay until 7/31/18)
  • 10GB Mobile Hotspot
  • International Text from US.
  • Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
  • Savings until 7/31/18, then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $30/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay.
"

Even re-used the sim card that I used in RingPlus so saved that too.
Interesting! Now it's 1 datapoint for google voice not working and 1 for it working. Tempted to just try. What number did you call to handle the porting?

Damn, you're lucky as well. I tried GV number over the phone and it gave them an error. Only the opposite of what happens to everyone, happens to me.
Did you release your GV number for porting out before you called? You have to pay Google to release the number before you can port out.

Finished my 2 yr contract with sprint and switched to verizon unlimited. Verizon paid off my sprint phones on lease and gave me s8/iphone7 for 15 per month. Sprint customer service tried to give me this 1 yr free deal but i was like no way. They have so much hidden fees and stuff u will never know #FreeShitIsStillShit

True. If you're in a major city with half decent Sprint coverage and did not get in on the early Tmo adoption deals, this is still better than most post-paid unlimited plans. Updated my post.

Has anybody checked to see if other sprint devices not on the list are eligible?
I had success today adding my LG G5 and porting out my puretalk number to sprint. After calling to sprint sales second time, they were willing to add my G5 to this promo, however, the number is still porting and probably the porting process will be completed tomorrow because puretalk's customer service is closed today..

Just the 866-782-8777 on the front page. I did check that the GV number and IMEI was valid through the website. So I was pretty sure it would work. They ask me all the same things that the website asked.

You unlocked the number to be ported out and gave them the account number = phone number and pin = voicemail pin?

Actually had no idea it had to be unlocked first. Thanks for the tip. So once unlocked, should that work if the phone has no actual carrier? It passed the eligibility when it had no service, but I told them it was on MintSim. So wondering if telling them I'm on Google Voice would work. Or get the "It has to be on a pre-paid or post-paid service."

Also need to set voicemail pin from legacy view on computer. The voicemail pin will act as account pin.

Also curious about Google Voice port in... those of us currently on Fi would benefit from this, avoiding the need to port to a different carrier.

I haven't done this deal yet. I did the target cartwheel 50% iPhone deal port to sprint from T-Mobile using GV on four of the five lines.

Which carrier are you trying to port from? At least 1 person seems to have gotten lucky porting a GV number, but reports seem scant.
