Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks for your reply. My verizon iphone 6s is currently active on Ting. Looking at my Ting account, the network seems to be CDMA. Is that why my device shows as ineligible from the checker for the Sprint 1 year free plan?

What can I do? Should I ask Ting to remove my phone's IMEI from the CDMA network even though that my device is currently active with Ting?
Ting is a Sprint MVNO so your are on sprint

Can anyone explain the device upgrade policy? It says you can't upgrade for 120 days. What's stopping me from buying an unlocked iPhone 8 in September and just swapping the SIM? (That's what I'm planning on doing. My iPhone is falling apart and won't make it 120 days)

So its been a few days since the deal open up.

Any impressions so far? I thinking about switching from Verizon to Sprint on my iPhone 6. I live in Phoenix.

How much are the monthly fees? Hows coverage in big cities?

This doesn't really address your questions, but I'm a little disappointed. LTE coverage is pretty good all around Lynchburg, VA... EXCEPT at my home. I get 1 bar of 1x (2G?). My calls get dropped pretty easily and sending MMS takes forever. This wouldn't be terrible if I could get Wifi Calling (which supports text too) to work but I keep getting an enablement error. Calls and chats to Sprint support have been useless.

They are stopping you to Buy a new discounted phone from Sprint for 120 days.
You can still buy another phone and replace with your existing phone.

Does it have to be one of the phones listed on the Sprint Website? Or I can use the IMEI of one the sprint phones that I have laying around to verify?

My GSM phone is not one of the phones listed on elegible list of phones. But I do have a Sprint Phone available.
Can Someone help me with this question? Do I have to go out and buy one of the listed phones or I can just buy a "Sprint" phone and register?

I'm a Cricket customer with number originally from AT&T and an unlocked iPhone 6S+. Qualified and signed up via the link, received my SIM in the mail Friday, and switched to Sprint yesterday. Had to call customer service to activate because didn't know my Cricket account or PIN # - if you google Cricket Porting Customer Service you can call and get your numbers from them and probably complete activation online. Sprint agent was very friendly and competent and assured me that I am qualified for the promo, but computer issues are preventing them from adding it to my account right away; he put in a note to "back office" so it can be fixed later this week. We shall see, but to me it's worth a shot if you qualify - if the promo actually lasts a year it could save me $2-300 off my already low rate on Cricket, then I'll switch to whoever is cheapest when promo ends. Just wanted to share my experience and thank OP and commenters for your help!

In case it helps anyone, the first bill listed on my Sprint account page is $3.56. I'm in MN. I started June 16, lists the next payment as due July 9.

Uggh ... I jumped on this but had forgotten just how atrocious Sprint service is compared to AT&T and Verizon. Free is good ... if your service works.

I got my sim card in the mail, activate it online. Now Sprint put my order on hold and told me to call them.

I did call this morning, and they said I have to go into the store with 2 forms of ID before I can activate the phone.

Did this happen to anyone?

I am trying to port from H20 wireless by the way.

Did you have a Sprint account before but closed it in a very short time?
