I saw an earlier post (post #1710) saying something about ATT BYOD SIM for $10 from Walmart, but I did a search on walmart.com but couldn't find the ATT BYOD SIM $10...

1. Order a ATT gophone sim online from att for $1.7, signup for the 0.25 plan,
(3 days to receive sim)
2. port the tello number to ATT, make sure number is ported and activate on ATT
3. Refill account with $10 (min refill amount is $10)
4. Call ATT and get the account number
Then you are ready.
Note 1. Tello took a while to release the phone my number from their system, so there might be delay
The total cost is 12 + tax.
I have Verizon iPhone 6s. It was with Verizon first, then RingPlus, and then it IS CURRENTLY ACTIVE on Ting. I tried the checker for this deal, entered the IMEI (and MEID) and Ting phone #, and it said the phone is not eligible.
Supposedly Verizon iPhones are all unlocked (thus mine should be too), and iPhone 6s is on the eligible device list for this deal.
As suggested by the SDer "ultrasoul", I can find a dummy esn and tell Ting to release my iphone esn and replace it with the dummy one. Has anyone done this successfully and could advise how to do this? Also, by doing this, how would I be able to keep my Ting phone number and port it to sprint for this 1-year free service?
I'd really appreciate help and advice on how to get this deal from Ting (active device/service on Ting). Thank you.
Also, can you port a different number after 6/30. I would like to use a temporary number to start with, check the coverage and then move my primary number to this line (dont want to add another line but just change numbers). Is this possible without losing the free 1 yr service?

How about just trying to get the miles, and if it doesn't work, oh well? It's not like it takes any effort to try.
And why are people complaining the UI when they offer you free service, seriously if you want nicer UI experience, you can signup to any carrier which have your prefer UI.
