Instead of porting the now GV number to Sprint and then having to port out in a year, I think I'll leave my main number on GV and use the GV app in order to make outgoing calls using my GV number routed through Sprint's cellular service. That way I can still txt from other devices (PCs, etc) using that same GV number. For incoming calls, I'll forward GV to the new number ported from either T-Mobile or AT&T to Sprint.
I have both AT&T and T-mobile prepaid SIMs, now have to debate which of the two to use to activate the new number that I will port over to Sprint. Which one is easier/faster/cheaper to port out from?
I gave them my info and right away they new the plan I was going for
This is for the case of porting a new prepaid number, instead of porting the same number I now have on GV to Sprint

I called the 8777 number and they sent me SIM cards with the packing slip and paper advertising the Free Unlimited plan with instructions on how to activate for whether you ordered online or via calling they're number. The rep even asked me if I already had an unactivated SIM I could use that one, but I didn't. If you get a rep that doesn't know what they're doing, hang up and find another.
i am sad to say, u have created quite a mess for yourself.
u are not following even the basic principles required to get this deal.
1. new customer.
u are a current customer and u cannot create another account in your spouses name for reasosn u have identified
2. need a eligible phone.
u dont have one. it is somehwre overseas.
also, IIRC, u need to leave the phone on the account for 120 days
(i am nt sure, havent followed up on all the details of tha one yet)
3. u need to port a number.
i am not even sure what u have done here..u had 1 number u wanted to port, but then change ur mind and ported in another number before completing the order, but then somehow sprint got the 1st number as being ported .. ( which is highly unlikely because they ported the number that only u can give them)
i dont think i will be of any help.
perhaps if u want post ur questions here..someone may help u
look , u win some u loose some...given the fact u cannot create another account..is not helping ur cause.
dont feel u r entitled to this or any deal for that matter...life happens....move on..
1. they told i can open another account even if i have existing sprint account as long as there are no issues with current account....
2. what is the condition to keep phone active for 120 days?
3. for the 3rd point you mixed two questions... that porting issue was regarding LG G6 offer on that thread
