Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Sprint is a Cluster Fluck!

I signed up online on Thur, entering in my personal info, SSN, DOB, address, credit card #, etc... The SIMS were shipped Friday and arrived Monday (as others have noted - so much for paying for overnight shipping!). I even got three e-mails about my order, my order #, shipping info, etc...

Today, I tried to go to www.sprint.com/activatenow to activate my first phone and the website tells me my info (E-mail address, DOB, and phone number) is incorrect. I then called the number (866)782-8777 from the paper and tried to speak with them about the issues I was having with their website. They asked my for my order number and I gave it to them...they then said they wanted to create an account for me and would need all my personal info again (name, SSN, DOB, etc...)...I told her that I was not comfortable giving it to them as they are not in the USA (they are in the Philippines - not India as someone else has stated over and over). I asked to speak with someone in the USA - she said that they were the only ones I could speak with.

The CSR then tried to contact the credit department...and they wanted to know what my application number was....I'm like, WTF??? Application Number?? I signed up through Sprint, paid with a credit card, had sims shipped to me - there was no "Application Number". They want to pull my credit a 2nd time and set me up again - has anyone else gone through this 2nd credit pull BS?

I'm just trying to activate sims that I have in hand right now.

What a goatrope this company is! MadMadMad

Hopefully this thread will have more stories of others experiences with activation...and not all this BS about trying to sneak in pre-paid phones or all the other scams people are trying to do to get in on this deal.

I'll have to search tomorrow and find a US Phone number to call or go instore - Does anyone have a number to Sprint Corporate to get resolution on 'legitimate" issues?

Did anyone actually get their sim the card the next business day? Every comment I've read so far is saying that it's taken 2-3 days to get there. So much for "overnight" lol.
I got mine next business day although I ordered om Saturday. It was shipped first thing yesterday morning and got here today. Of course my port/activation hasn't been successful yet.

past 2 years free service from ringplus then ting(credits for a few months of service) and now sprint without changing my phone or sim card. Not bad, I'm assuming $10 in taxes/fees a month for a year of unlimited everything. I will take it.
Doesn't Ting show up as Sprint MNVO? And could use Ting Number to port in to Sprint?

I signed up today. Took 2 hours on call with customer rep. They are trying hard to sell the protection plan. I wanted to do online, but I was asked to call.

Any way to make sure we got the free offer from the account portal ? Do we get the bill / email on the plan.
I just see this info related to the offer -
"Unlimited - Bring Your Phone "

update -

somewhere in the details , I saw this -

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (Free with AutoPay until 7/31/18)
10GB Mobile Hotspot.
International Text from US.
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 7/31/18; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $30/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay.

Any chance of having a phone with a clean ESN but does not power on working with this deal?

Wasted two day reading the threads and 3 hours on the phone with Sprint over credit check issue. Guess we ( wife and I ) were all out of luck in passing the online check and then failed the phone check by Sprint credit dept. We both have around 800 Fico scores. I don't understand Sprint credit check system. Looks like there are flaws in their system or they just don't want so many people using their promotion? I was told to wait 60 days before I could apply again. WTF. What I can do at this stage? Go to sore ? call again? Anyone have some insight please!!!!! Thanks in advance.

If you have SIM, while porting tell the device is not with you , but you can get the IMEI. And ask them to activate. They were eager to activate more devices in one go. May be there is incentive for the rep/call center to activate more devices.

Wait I will add pics to this post for you

My Global GSM Sim also had account + PIN
thanks for the images, now I gotta do it after all your trouble. hug I can't even be sure where those FP phones are right now. Nice if I can put them to use in the deal but I want to move my hotshot phones over,. Maybe after the port I can swap in my (tello) Nexus 6 or Moto G4, just swap them out. I have a box of R+ phones sitting idle in case something comes along.

Have you even tried? I added 2 lines to my new Sprint account. 1 from freedompop LTE sim and 1 from ring.to 3 days ago.
Did you sign up both lines simultaneously? I am thinking of porting in two lines from different carriers and didn't know if I should do one first and add the next one or just sign both lines up and see if each line has a separate porting process.

Yes, I highly think so. I think Sprint need more customers for Merger coming soon, maybe if they show they have more customers, they get more money or something?

http://www.tmonews.com/2017/06/de...nt-merger/

My Rep from Philippines was on call with me for 45 minutes, till I walked to Sprint Store (Corporate store is 2 mile near me and I walk in afternoon for exercise, he said he will wait on call rather than let me order SIM online). I think he gets paid per activation or some thing or Sprint needs numbers

I got it the next day. This thread is full of complainers Wink
But seriously, most people that have a smooth sign up experience won't bother coming back to report on it. Mostly those that have issues come back to try to figure out what to do (or to complain Stick Out Tongue )

I was able to get this deal after spent almost 2 hours on phone with customer service. My only problem is my phone only show 3g ( iphone 6s plus) even I try all the way I search on google but no work at all. My phone work fine with ATT LTE before. Anyone have ideas? BTW lte coverage in my area is excellent.
