Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Ok, so I currently have one phone on Boost and 2 on Republic Wireless(with 6 months free). It says I'm not eligible on all of the phones, despite having compatible phones on all 3(Nexus 6, Nexus 5x, Moto G5 Plus). I assume because they're all on Sprint MVNOs. My question is this, what service can I put all 3 of these phones on at the lowest cost so I'm eligible for this year of service on all 3?
Already been answered in my previous posts, but yes, you need to port out the number if you care for them from the MVNOs, and more than likely get the number placed back to SPCS database from PLBL... this requires either a Sprint ClickIt ticket (can take 24-48 hours as far as what I can assess from Google results) or some including myself have had luck w/ PM'ing LiterallyUnlimited at Reddit w/ IMEI as he is also able to do that switch.

I'd say port or start a new prepaid line with T-mobile. SIMs are around $10/ea. I didn't have to load the new T-mobile prepaid PAYG account in order to port out... just used the initial pin and the mobile #.

Where are people seeing their first bill? I don't see anything but $0.00 due
In "my sprint". View bill. Takes a couple of days to show up. Feeling lucky with this deal for 12 months. Coverage for places that I go to are good, not terribly fast but usable. Including the farthest area of a supermarket.

Do you think the name on the credit union account has to match the sprint account name? I was thinking of asking my in laws to let me use their CU info since I dont have a CU account.
Here's what I found for theterms/conditions of the offer [lovemycreditunion.org]. I don't see anything that says that the CU account has to be under the Sprint customer's name. Also, when you enter the CU info in the promo page, it only asks for the CU account number, not the name of the CU account holder. Attached is a screenshot of a fake account I made, but didn't complete.

Yes I just ported my line form h20 for this free service
Nice to see a success, but it would be helpful if you added a few details. Like if you went through the online process or phone in and whether everything went smooth or there were hitches. Thanks

You are thinking too much, most of people who submit the referrals just submit it and cross their finger, it takes less than a min, and if it comes it is free money.

For those people who even have ask whether referral work, just ignore them
Ya, I guess we can do that. But for me I have to open a second line under wifey and fill it up with 3 lines. So dunno if it's worth it. My first account, I didn't know so I didn't use anyone for a referral.

successfully port out H2O wireless(unlimited monthly prepaid plan) to sprint 1 year free plan, had sprint sim from previous deal, over the phone with sprint CS run through the credit check and port in to Sprint like a butter in an Hour....

But I would seriously like to know the reason/technology behind this database update story.
Sprint has a database for all approved devices on its network. I think that database is updated quarterly. You can manually add a device onto that database by submitting a ClickIT ticket.

I'm mildly retarded when it comes to cell phone stuff.

So I would purchase 3 of these for example: https://www.amazon.com/T-Mobile-P...repaid+sim

I'd put it in my phone, and it would automatically assign me a number, without actually signing up for service? I'd then input that number on the Sprint website, along with the IMEI and I'd be eligible?

T-Mobile prepaid sim $10 at Amazon, then pay as you go $3 plan.

Hello,

Did you sign up from this link?
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/of...A1yearfree

It should say BYOD- Unlimited talk, text and data.
The plan is only temporary but I would stay on Sprint putting the heat on multiple reps just I case when I did they said a supervisor from some department has to override the plan to the BYOD and it should be done by the first bill. I kept calling back until several reps confirmed it and but in the request and about three days later it changed.

Referrals? Half of you are nuts. Activated 2 lines today. One was a NIB Note 5. Super easy speaking to Sprint. Getting excellent service so far. Great deal. See you in a year
