Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You can't. That specific department is required for activation. My first call took an hour and half, but the 2nd call and 2 more lines took 30 min.

So I verified the IMEI's and numbers and ordered the SIM's using one phone but have since found a different, compatible phone I want to use. Will I need to do my initial activation of the SIMs with the phones I originally used or can I use a different phone?

Or can I switch afterwards? I know they say 10/1 but thought that might just be for buying a phone through them.

Get it work online, or hire a translator.

First bill was $4.13 here in New York. Hope this stays the bill for this year! That would be totally sweet!

Yes, still on free plan.
Did you swap to S4 online (Sprint website), via customer service online chat or did you call Sprint on the phone to complete this swap? Many thanks for any detail you can provide, as this will save me from having to upgrade my kids' phones (tri-band Sprint S4 L720T devices). How did you ascertain you are still on the free plan?

I keep seeing that people say X hours of life you, however they are rewarding you $1920 saving for 1 year.. Let say Sprint service really suck and only worth 50% , you are still getting $960. So unless you have some other activity which reward you $320 per hour for your time, I really dont see how people jusity the time they spent is wasted. So what will you do if you are not on the phone porting?? I am really curiousIn
I'm semi-retired but I do consulting at $400/hr.

According to 1st page Wiki:

LIST YOUR ZIP CODE

Zip | Tax | Avg Speed | Recommend or Not
90061 $9 10Mbps Yes
66103 $7 80Mbps Yes
26501 $4 3Mbps Yes
33040 $5 15Mbps Yes
44805 $4 2Mbps No
94301 $9 8mpbs No
10013 $11 15mbps No
11962 $10 8mbps No
10007 $15 3mbps No
02113 $4 22Mbps *Yes (*If you can do without talking & surfing at the same time)

Why the difference when both are in NYC and literally right next to each other?
The info on the wiki is useless unless they provide time and device info (LTE bands connected, LTE Plus enabled, etc.). Network performance depends on the available bandwidth, LTE bands connected, etc. at the time of testing. Slow network speed could be caused by poor signal, network congestion, etc.

I already hate sprint. Just got a phone Nexus 5, yesterday look at the list it said Verizon. Well there weren't any Verizon specific Nexus 5. Today it changed and says not T-mobile. I just bought a "T-mobile" Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 is unlocked, just shit Sprint won't whitelist the T-mobile ones. F*** em. On the positive side of things, I won't be using Sprint.

Success! Phone in. Opened 3 lines. Total phone time: 1 hour and 12 minutes. 28 of which was talking to the porting dept, who had a couple of numbers wrong. H2O ported in less than 10 minutes. 2 freedompop(att) numbers will port at midnight Sunday.

You must call the number in the wiki. Have your IMEI numbers, Sim numbers, account numbers that your porting from and the pin numbers ready. Be sure your phone's IMEI is accepted using the online link in the OP. Be sure to ask for employees ID number in case problems arise. My rep 'Sam' in the Philippines was great.

Nexus 6 getting good speeds on band 41 in the Chicago area. Use 'Lte discovery' app for band info. Will wait 24 hours for final charges to show up.
So just by calling in, did they put you on the free plan, the $45 plan, or the $65 plan. Some people calling into the 8777 number are NOT getting the free plan even though the rep goes over the terms for the free plan.

Did you tell them it's porting from H2O or At&t. Also, do you have to call H2o for the acct. # and pin?

i switched one of my line from tmo postpaid, done thru website, process is pretty smooth. i never had sprint or it MVNO acct before.

i paid $14.19 for sim card and shipping, and today im seeing a $14.19 being credit back to my CC, checked my bill, it says 0, no $30 activation fee.

tried sprint network, it is pretty bad, lots of bad spot, trouble spots while my tmo has full signal. at home i cant use sprint data, cant connect at all while my tmo got full LTE.

i would never switch my primary line to sprint.

this is for LA, SGV area
