Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Received SIM kit, tried to sprint.com/activate now, and got the following error: "We're sorry. This information doesn't match our records. Please double-check your information and try again."
The info I put is exactly the same as what I ordered the SIM.
Does anyone have similar experience?

I have one line out of four that is under contract until July 2nd. All of the other lines are out of contract. The promotion is saying that line is not eligible due to it being locked. How can I get this line ported over to the sprint promotion? The termination fee is 95 dollars. If I pay that fee, will that line close on my att account? I guess I'm trying to somehow get the phone unlocked, so I can transfer it over without closing the line prior to porting.

Hello,

Supposedly you can add extra line anytime till 07/31/2018 if you are enrolled on the unlimited BYOD plan (max. 5 lines).

That's how I read it on the terms. I do not know if it will work though.

And you should be able to switch phones or sim cards after you are set up and active.

I thought I did at first, but it turned out I had used my home phone as a contact number when placing the order, then when I went to activate I put in my cell phone number so they didn't match. Oops. It accepted it once I put in the same number I had used for the order. Activating online seemed to work, but the phone wasn't connecting even after waiting a while and doing a network reset, etc. I found that I needed to actually login/create my Sprint account after doing the online activation and putting in the SIM card. Until I did that the number port seemed to be stuck in processing even though the other carrier had already released it.

tried multiple times..they told phone can be added to database but first they have to check eligibility of phone for this byod free offer.... later comes the question of compatiblity.. eligibility is must to check for this offer... if phone and number come as ineligible then they cannot proceed... not sure if i try again tomorrow to get samsung s7 passed for this offer or shud use other phone (which i dont have)
Tell the rep not to check but to add the IMEI into the Sprint database first. The IMEI has to be added to the database first before it can pass the BYOD IMEI checker or be paired with any Sprint SIM. Once it passed the BYOD IMEI checker, it's considered open market device even though its IMEI still identifies it as a Verizon device. As long as you flash it to XAA or SPR firmware (both firmwares have Sprint CSC info), it will work on Sprint will all Sprint LTE bands turned on.

The port can take up to three days to complete, depending on where (or which carrier) you port the number from. Wireless number takes less time to port than landline number. You may experience strange issues such as no incoming call, voicemail not working, text goes no where, no LTE, etc. until the port is 100% completed Big Grin

When do you need to provide port out information?
During first sign up or when you need to activate the phone after you have received the sim card?
Anyone here that signed up can help me answer this question?
I don't have port out information yet, but thinking I can just sign up first.
Thanks.

From my experience earlier today if it helps anyone:

Got 'can't check credit online' despite the fact that I have very good credit and had sprint in the past. I called in and they ran me through the identity theft gauntlet, asking me questions like 'what year was your <car that I owned for 6 months 10 years ago>', 'what is the age range of <my brother in law's name>' and 'which of these people is most closely associated with you <3 strangers and one of my sisters' ex-husband who I haven't spoken to in 20 years>'. I must have guessed the details of my own life correctly.

I ported from a backup google voice number ($3 unlock and set pin first). Dude asked my carrier and I told him google voice. He said 'let me check', came back a few minutes later and said that was fine. Everything went through (though it hasn't ported yet). Check that your name is correct on your account. My backup gmail account has Spam Account as the name. Seemed to go through but caused additional unnecessary language barrier issues.

I used an S7 that had been on ringplus but not ting. I didn't have to do anything, it worked the first time I checked. I used the same sim that I had used on ringplus.

I was offered a 'free tablet' ($5/month for 24 months for the tablet, $15/month for unlimited data and another 10gb of hotspot) which I declined.

As with others, he tried hard to push the $13 protection, even implying that I needed it for activation then I could call back and have it removed. I declined, obviously.

Anyone wanna try the $70 Verizon Moto E4 to see if it'll work with this???

https://www.verizonwireless.com/p...4-prepaid/

Would be super slick if it worked on Sprint or there was a way to unlock it.
