Iphones only.
I was aware that SE ( ATT model A1662 ) has CDMA radio but not all sprint bands , that's the reason it will not pass the Sprint phone validation.
After activating a line I asked the customer care rep to swap, she did. I thought the system will say the phone is not compatible, but she confirmed its done. Then, I inserted the sim into my Iphone SE ( ATT model). I got signal and the Sprint name in the signal bar. I did a test call and it wen through. Issue started after the cust care rep asked me to update the iphone se with codes like - ##update#. Then I lost signal and did not work later.
I continued to have issues with my other number (iphone 7)and and had to visit the store. They said I had sim from another number and they took it inside the store and fixed my iphone 7 issue.
My SE is still saying invalid SIM. I got new sim from store which I plan to activate again in SE.
This is the first time I am trying CDMA service. In GSM phones to change the phone we just take the sim and put it in the phone we want. Is it the same process for CDMA too?
Also, same question for the aa advantage. Can sign up for aa advantage influence anything? On the other hand, for people who don't have aa advantage account, do you just sign up for an account? Is there any referral or bonus for sign up a new aa advantage account?
on Verizon with my s7 edge, sprint says it wont work. Do I have to buy another phone? And whats a good equivalent that's on sale right now that would work?

Might be different if you called.
Apple iPhone's have transparent process when it comes to Model # and the phone capabilities. There are no 3 to 4 variants of the same model number(at least not from iphone 5s).
Its hard to suggest to someone a specific non-apple model and be sure about its capabilities regardless where they buy or use. Hope Apple keeps offering the phones with CDMA and GSM radios.
