Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Make sure you "delete" the device, not only deactivate

farking shady reps

Called back the number and happened to get the same rep; whats funny is the vocal disclaimer said free for 1 year until I looked at my account.

hm; they said it's a temporary plan and should update after 2 hours from their supervisor
I am in the same boat. My plan says Unlimited Freedom w/ AutoPay. When I chatted with them this morning they said I was on the correct plan and that it would be $3.50 in taxes only each month. Did they correct your plan? Not sure if they're blowing hot air and whether I should call... for those or you that called did you call 611 or some other dedicated number?

They said it should automatically adjust after 24 hours; who knows

What does delete do? Does it turn off the MVNO flag on SPCS or any other flag that causes the device to be ineligible on Sprint postpaid?

I was on the wrong plan for 48 hours too, due to porting issues. As long as you meet the criteria the "back office" should get you on the correct plan. And you should also get an email when the fix happens.

Not sure if this was asked but can we change phones after signing up for the plan? I saw in the wiki that you need to wait 120 days until upgrading.

I'm asking this because we have 2 people that plan to change their old iPhones to iPhone 8 (whatever it's gonna be called) once it comes out in the fall.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, if you buy it from Apple store at full price when it comes out. I don't think you can upgrade through Sprint using this plan. You should be able to take your SIM out from current phone and put in new iPhone but you will have to contact customer support to swap it.

I ported from T-Mobile. The port was completely within a few hours. However, still stuck on 3G when I should be getting LTE on my Nexus 6. Replaced SIM and tried other things like factory reset, etc, but no luck till now.
Try ##UPDATE# and press call button and hope it works for you.

Yes, you can change phone anytime. Just log into your account and change the phone to pair it with the existing SIM. If you change too many times per billing cycle, it will error out and you have to chat/call to change. The error will fix itself on the next billing cycle. The only thing you can't do is upgrade (i.e., lease a new phone or buy a new phone with installments on the free line) prior to 10/1/17.

I already have that Sprint SIM (that part #). I need a competitor carrier SIM to activate on that competitor, so that I can switch to Sprint and get the promo. An additional possible complication is that I have already used this Nexus and this Sprint SIM to do this once to get my first line, which I then transferred to an S7 (but a different Sprint SIM inside). I went to Walmart and cheapest SIM was $10. Went to Best Buy and got an ATT SIM free. Tmobile wants $10, and I ordered an H2O for $0.01 but shipping might not get here before 6/30. How can I activate using the ATT SIM with the least cost?
This was posted earlier. Maybe worth a try.

In your account online, you can swap the phone MEID and/or SIM card ICCID yourself

Did anyone successfully activate with your own SIM card on another compatible phone? I received the SIM card kit, however I found a used Sprint micro SIM card so I decided to use this used SIM card.
On activatenow website I input the used SIM's ICCID, my phone number which would be ported, my email address and other information, activation succeeded and I received confirmation email as well as PIN code.
Then I inserted it into a Nexus 6 (not the iPhone 7 Plus I initially used to check eligiblity), a SprintDM application was trying to configuring something but it finally failed after 5 retries. Now it has been more than 24 hours, I still cannot make any calls although my Nexus 6 shows signal bars of Sprint. No matter what number I dialed, I always get error message say the number or code dialed is not correct.

Must I use the SIM card I received in company with the phone I used for eligiblity checking to get account / number ported and activated?
